I might be wrong, but to me it looks as though the front photo is showing part of the neighbouring house, so not all those windows are the OP's.
I agree with other posters that whilst an ok little house, it is exceptionally narrow and looks quite tight/cluttered. The master bedroom definitely seems like a single to me and the living room bay window with an armchair crammed in makes the space appear even smaller than it probably is. Moving some items out whilst on the market makes a lot of sense. Smaller furniture would be ideal but obviously not everyone can swap out everything that easily.
Definitely need a pic of the dining area!
Fab countryside views (although I guess the pylon would put many - including me - off) which no doubt someone will fall in love with....good luck, OPMortgage-free for fourteen years!
Over £40,000 mis-sold PPI reclaimed0 -
I wouldn't call that little narrow corridor of a lean to a sun lounge. It only just about takes a sofa.0

That pylon is a big problem. People are going to see it straight away on street view. Didn't you notice it when you bought the house?0

The house is fine, a bit on the small(narrow) side. However I don’t see this as an issue. Everyone is not looking for a big house.
The house however is overloaded with stuff. You just need to skip off stuff. Sell off things, this is what we did, best thing ever and give to charity etc
The big issue I see is the elephant in the room. The pylon. There is going to be a massive price reduction due to this. I think the OP doesn’t realise this but it’s such a narrow market with Pylons.
When we were looking at flats near Ebbsfleet international station , 2 beds were struggling to sell for 180k and this was due to pylons. Now to put into perspective we knew flats that size/location will be circa £300k. When we went there the massive pylon put us off. The pylon in reality was smaller than the block and couldn’t be seen from the actual flat. OH was having none of it, this was supposed to be our week commute flat to London.
So we sold up and moved to London, and the estate agents were calling with more discounts. Unbelievable, but for the OP you got to be realistic about stuff like this. Pylons, car parks, grave yards etc, you buy cheap and sell cheap.
Our previous house was by a massive car park, bought £40k cheaper and sold £60k cheaper but making a £100k in price rise. Hope it helps0 -

I would edit the car out of the photo of the front of the house. Even though it’s only a small car, it looks huge in the picture, making the house look even smaller than it is!0

I said previously above about the pylon, however we are right in the corner and we don’t see it! We know this will be an issue but not to a local who is used to seeing them!
I need support please, we can’t just take it down! So in your opinion would we never sell it? We’ve lived here 11 years and our neighbours are like family, but I have MS and to be nearer to myhubbies work so one we can plough the petrol money he spends into a house ( it’s two hours to work and back a day!) and for him to be home more to help with our son. The stress is kicking off my MS! Thank you for your opinion though.0 -
