Hi guys I’m new to this! We have had our house for sale since 9th Jan with 5 viewers in the first week! Then nothing! Lowered the price twice now and still nothing!!
I’m looking into the we buy any home now as we’ve found the perfect bungalow we want to buy, I’m disabled so need a bungalow now!
Are there any decent companies that do this? Or should we stay away from them indefinitely?
HELLLP
Thank you

Two months on the market isn't really all that long. Bit silly to get attached to a potential new property if you need to find a buyer for yours first.
You say you've lowered the price, but is it actually at an attractive level now? You might want to post some details here if you want opinions.
The alternative if you're desperate is to look at auctions.0 -

Stay away. Well away. They will basically offer you an amount, then keep reducing it as you get closer to exchange (praying on the fact that they know you won't have many options at that point).
Just keep dropping the price until more people are interested. Also ask for feedback. Maybe post a link here for the advert?
It's obviously a bit wobbly at the moment with all the uncertainty (the unmentionable b word!), fewer people are buying or selling than this time last year.0 -
how long has the bungalow been on the market?
how much interest is there in that?
are other places around you selling?
is there much else on the market?
is the bungalow you like unique?0 -
Thank you we listed it at £130 - £140k now it’s £120 - £130k0

Could you use a stair lift?
I know it depends on the nature of the disability but if you could then it would considerably increase your options.0 -
Sorry it’s now on at £120 - £125k0

Hmm.....I don’t undestand how the range works.
For example with the latter range it shows you’ll accept £120 so why would anyone offer you any more than that?
Do you have an EA advising you or have you gone with the likes of purple bricks?
A traditional EA costs a bit more but knows the local market, can give advice and sometimes get a better price.
Is an EA advising you? If so what have they said?0 -
Are other properties in your area selling?
What does the estate agent say?
Can you afford the bungalow if you sell at that price?0 -
The bungalow has been for sale for about 10 months and is unique, well to us it is, lovely cottage bungalow semi rural, with 15 mins drive to city centre.
Our house is a semi overlooks beautiful country side! But the downside to that is we have a pylon at the top of the cul de sac! And the power station is right down the bottom of the field, can’t really see it tho!
We’ve been here 11 years and only moving to relocate to closer to my husbands job, so I get more help and a bungalow.... I have MS x0
