OK dokey. I know the feeling - think Hobnobs. :D I've cut and pasted the recipe but I'll wait until Haribo says it's correct before I bake it. Bit disappointed there were no lumberjacks in the ingred. ;) I don't have any dates atm so I'll get them next shop. I don't have a swiss type roll tin either. Be OK in a square tin. Sounds delicious. I can't wait to try Twink's too. :D
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

    Aussie,

I don't have any dates either.....Haribo said just to double up on the apple. Square tin will be fine...I think that's probably what I meant.

If she had managed to capture a passing lumberjack, do you really think she'd tell me about it! Actually, knowing her, she would! _pale_  ;):D

Ps this child is still asleep.......should I go and poke him or just leave him be?

    Morning All

Somebody give me a quick kick. I'm off the wagon and need to get back on. What with Kyle's DS waking early and my DD not going to sleep to very late we must be up all night between us.

Plan for today is get tidied up and do some washing its still frosty so no heating is on. At some point I need to dress DD. I have no idea whats for tea so need to have a look in the freezer. I also need to get a list togerther of what I've already bought for xmas. In between times I'm stripping the wallpaper off dd room as dh has done it and I have decided that it will be finished for xmas.

    Have a good day everyone

 :shhh: :silenced:  :D After the lawnmower comments I think you'll just have to try it and see. ;)

Pink....I can't believe you were actually listening. Makes a pleasant change. :p
Seriously though, thanks for posting that. :A I'm scoffing some at the moment and tbh I wouldn't bother with the topping as it is very sweet anyway. It's absolutely delicious but I personally would cut back the sugar a bit. ;) And tell Ads that if he's inherited his Auntie H's brains there will be plenty more prizedays. :D
And Dish cloth Knitter....(I have this image of you sat in front of the computer concentrating on the video of "How to knit for ninnies") :D The square tin will be fine. ;)

Ps.....Aussie....I got the recipe from Australian Woman's weekly. Was reluctant to try it but surprisingly it is definitely edible. :p

  • Noooooo Really.......Use the other one....

If it's a blooming lawnmower I shall be going off in a huff forthwith.

    Edit.....Thanks Shez.:rotfl:

Reminds me of when I asked Dtwin1 when she was 3 what kind of car she would like when she grows up and she replied "An Ice Cream van" :rotfl:

Right, just thought I'd let you all know, my two-timing ex was not a two timer - he's a three timer:eek: I had my suspicions, but you always look for the best don't you?!

    C'est la vie!

Decided the flat is taking forever, so looking at another one - which looks nice to be honest - this afternoon. If they can do a quick turn around, then I may go there instead!!
