The coconut rough looks lush Pip:p

£87 or so spent on a biggie on Monday between morries, aldeee, bnm and azda....Yeh. ....a mammoth shopping day but at least done for a while as shopping isn't my fave past time.

Bit annoyed with myself today though as dh tempted me into buying £3 worth of sweets.....I'm a sucker for them! I would literally kill for a cola cube:D

Will probably need to do a small shop on Friday or Saturday for milk, cream, cream cheese and chocolate as I intend making a very delicious but easy ( Mary b''s double device chocolate cake) to take to a gathering on Sunday.
Plus £15 of the £203.50 was spent on booze for Sunday. I don't usually include booze in my grocery budget but I'll fess up to this and see how things balance out at the end of the month.

Ps love reading all your posts everyone, they do make me giggle:D

no join when you like all budgets catered for, weekly, monthly, annually, work with what fits you, how are you paid, weekly or monthly, be it wage or benefits. or you may like to take the next 2 weeks to take stock on stores and see how much you spend on average now.
Do I need it or just want it.

Thank you elsiepac , I'll pop across and join shortly but will continue in April as I'm doing week to week....Friday to Thursday.

    Well week 2

    SM £64.09 ~ £5 voucher = £59.09 /£60 :T
    Top ups £11.79 / £10 :(

I think I need to write down WHAT I'm spending the top ups on so I can see where or if I'm spending on unnecessary items.

Busy doing the shopping list and thinking of meals/everyone's plans for next week ...hopefully should be there or thereabouts next week

Ok on to Week 3 ....
Grocery spends £193.44/ £70 per week or £303 per month

Total lack of will power this month. I'm doing well with food and won't need to get a huge amount for the rest of the month, just milk, fruit and veg. But £21 on wine has blown the budget. Maybe I need a separate alcohol budget. I really don't drink much and am only expecting to have one of the bottles later this month when I've a visitor, but I tend to buy more than one if I see a favourite on special offer.

Welcome! Feel free to jump on in whenever! As pamsdish said, this is a great time to use to jot down everything you spend, and then you could multiply it up to get an idea of what you are spending now... or if you already know, you could set yourself a budget for the rest of this month to stick to if you like! We're very flexible!
