met up with a friend yesterday and she got there before me and had bought a huge piece of cake and a coffee. She is a bit of a scatterbrain but I’m sure we agreed we would get some lunch! anyway I had to get something to eat and looked at the menu and the only thing that looked SW friendly was a jacket potato. They wanted £6.99 for a jacket potato with filling and I wasn’t prepared to pay that when a potato costs about 30p!! I don’t mind paying up to £4 but I thought that was taking the pee.
There was nothing on the menu that looked suitable, even the soup (with 2 rolls) was very creamy/cheesy. I ended up having a cheese scone and felt guilty all afternoon.:(0 -
Don't feel guilty Pennylane. Draw the line and back on plan. You may have been within syns anyway (no idea how many syns a cheese scone is!).

Beat 2 eggs with teaspoon sweetener and cinnamon, i then dry fry like a pancke, stuff with fruit, greek fat free yog with skinny syrup mixed in , 1/2 syn choc shot
Can confirm this is sooooo yummy, have it sometimes as a w/e brekkie. I use half a Muller Light on top, not tried the choc shot yet. Plus I bought an omelet maker a while back and use it lots, it’s great.

Thank you! I couldn't find anything recent about ready brek!

It is hard to find suitable things at reasonable prices when you eat out penny. I'm always moaning about it.:o Last week I'd eaten so many sandwiches that I went out in search of a JP. I had a tuna mayo in M&S caf! and it was really good with a generous salad garnish too. I think it was £4.45. Unfortunately it's not a shop I like (seems inhabited by clones in beige clothes
) so I generally go to Debenhams for a JP or Pret for a tuna salad.
I bought an 800g loaf for the freezer the other week as it was YS and I was probably feeling more than usually upset about Brexit at the time.;) DH opened it today and made me 2 slices of toast.:( Sorry Martin but I left one of them.:money:
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks, scrambled eggs
L: LO chicken free casserolesavoury mince, mash, carrots, cauli, broccoli and maybe more Speed
Syns: HP sauce 10
