Maman i know you said about skinny syrup being runny, well today i bought caramel choc shot, but its just caramel, not chocolate if that makes sense:rotfl::rotfl: its really thick, Aldi have it £2.49

Difference being choc shot is synned (1 sun per tsp?) and skinny syrup isn't (Free)! When you're trying to save syns every little helps, LOL!

Thanks for thinking of me bubbs . I was using 2.5 syns on porage a couple of times a week so I'm delighted with the saving and putting up with the runniness (is that a word??). I'll look in Aldi though but as I have a huge bottle of skinny syrup, I won't need any soon. :)

    Morning all!

Still feeling rough so have texted my consultant to say I won't be going to WI. She'll probably assume it's because I've had too many syns this week but it really is because I don't want to spread my cold germs to everyone else.

No idea what I'm going to be eating today apart from I've got some LO mixed bean goulash and some LO herby couscous so will have those for lunch today. Haven't decided on dinner at the moment but will need to think about it soon in case I need to get something out of the freezer.

Will have something light for breakfast, maybe some scrambled eggs on toast, but don't have any spinach left so won't be able to have that stirred through like I usually do.

Will come back later once I've decided what to have today!

So sorry to hear that you're so tired Suffolksue. You are doing really well under the circumstances. From your comment I assume your DH is asking for non SW friendly stuff? If so then as you say don't ask if he wants anything! Also if he wants something snacky pick something you either don't like or something you could fit in with the plan. Good luck with everything.

After posting went and had a look in the cupboard to see what I could have for breakfast and decided on Weetabix & milk. Didn't fancy any fruit on it so didn't have it but may have some strawberries mid morning.

    So today's plan will be:

    B - Weetabix & milk
Mid morning - strawberries & quark
L - LO mixed bean goulash, LO herby couscous
D - Steak, SW chips, mushrooms & onions

HEA1 - milk for breakfast (about half HEA)
    HEA2 - milk for tea
    HEB - 2 Weetabix
Syns - none planned but if I'm feeling better later I may have a G&T or two!

Morning all, reporting a 0.5lb gain please Chris. Not too bad a result considering it's post-Easter, two days early, and Day 1 of my cycle. I've hit my little target of being under 14.7 for this weekend away. Next job is to lose 6lb in the next 4 weeks to get under 14 for my next weekend away!

I managed to shut the fridge door on my face last night (HOW?), so hard I thought I'd knocked a tooth. Luckily teeth all intact but I split my lip. what a dolt. I wasn't even foraging for snacks, I was just putting the milk away! :(

I always add some frozen mixed veg to the rice in the cooker so even more speed.

Such a simple, genius idea!! :T

I'm away now for the weekend, hope everyone has a good one! Hugs to all!

Snap! That's exactly what I was going to say!:) I've no interest in any of the sweet stuff that my DH likes but I could never buy him crisps. I often buy him Benefit bars or Alpen Lights (he's enjoying Banoffee flavour at the moment) but as I've never been a snacker I rarely bother with those either.

Sorry to hear you're feeling rough denise. I'm sure I've got a cold coming too. For the last few evenings I get that feeling in my throat but after I've eaten and rested for a while it goes away. I think it's trying to sneak up on me when I'm hungry and tired. Hoping I can fight it off.

Well done on hitting your mini target tete, shame about the gain but it's only small;). Apologies but I laughed when I read about the fridge incident. :o My thoughts were that it was getting back at you for snacking;). Enjoy your weekend and then be ready with a plan for next week.:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB porage with HEA milk, skinny syrup
L: cold meat, LO veg, pickles
D: Aldi burger, fried onions, asparagus, tomato, mushrooms, SW chips
    Syns: burger 1

Thanks Maman. My cold crept up on me too! Don't think I noticed it much to start with as it was the weekend and the wine was flowing!!! I only really noticed it when my nose started streaming during the night on Monday! Felt round Tuesday but took a couple of Lemsip capsules and felt a bit better. Yesterday wasn't too bad but this morning it seemed to have come back with a vengeance. Have taken another couple of Lemsip capsules (the last I had) so have bought another packet so I can have a couple before bed tonight and hopefully get a better nights sleep!

Hope your cold doesn't do the same to you.

A small gain like that Tete will easily be off again next week.

    Denise
