Um when you say changes no one has mentioned that...have noticed my book is an old cover.....
Please tell me that tin of mushy peas are free or else my dinner was a disaster
B. was half muller yog blueberrys and grated apple
L. was slice wholemeal toast with 2 scrambled eggs (used one spray)
D. 2 portion Aldi tuna steaks, broc and mushy peas.
Supper might be rest yogurt and 10 cal jelly pot with fruit
My problem(one of them:rotfl:) is I find it hard buy ready made meals....can't eat spicy or peppery things, the ready meals look greet put limited with choices to try. Got a cottage pie and lasagna today.
Thanks everyone I feel better already....think it was just expected the old coordinator to be there.
I can't remember exactly but I think the new books came in over Christmas last year. Fear not, mushy peas are still free food.
Many things have syns now that didn't before including Mullers (1 for most flavours). There is also an extra HEA each day.
Not many of us on here have the SW ready meals regularly. Most of us cook from scratch including cooking for the freezer.
Looking at your menu : do have your fruit later to up your Speed. And don't worry about Frylight, you don't need to count sprays.0 -
Yes the new books came in around Christmas last year.
One of the changes was that Baked Beans were no longer considered high enough in protein to be used on EESP (Speed and Protein foods only + no more than 10 syns).
If you have any questions just ask and there's usually someone hanging around to answer them!
Maman is right when she says most of us don't bother with the SW meals. I've only ever tried 2 of them and definitely wasn't impressed! Same when I tried the chunky chips - much prefer my own ones.

Morning all
Welcome to the newbies, well done to the losers and sts and loads of love and hugs to everyone who needs them.
Have been crazily off plan, well snack wise anyway,
I'm stress eating and need to find another way of destressing when I get home from work, rather than eating...
Monday is my last wi before I go on holiday for 2 weeks and I had wanted to lose 2.5 stone. I'm quite disappointed with myself
And, I've hurt my knee. I've not done anything to it. I think it's my body telling me off, so it's time to listen.
I really need to get on board properly. I don't know why I do this to myself.
Food today:
B: overnight oats (HEB)
L: Keema curry & rice
T: Enchilada lasagne(HEA), salad, sw chips
Milk(HEA) for hot drinks0 -
Morning All
Well the Easter madness caught up with me and I have a gain of +1lb
Could have been much worse though, I think all the walking out and about with the kids probably helped minimise it.
Back on plan now, and I will resume my c25k next week so hoping to recoup my gain.
B fruit and yoghurt (1/2)
L bacon and egg roll with salad (hexb)
D creamy chicken (pon) and pasta with peas (3)'You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose' - Dr Suess

1lb is not bad at all! You did well!!
I have been terrible over the past few days and put on the weight I was so proud to lose. Back to square one0 -
I didn't make it last night
Had to give in to something as I desperately needed a new washing machine and trying to find a suitable delivery (ie when I am actually home!) was proving too much. Took the risk of delivery for yesterday but they gave me a late slot, which by the time it was fitted was just too late. I can't make next week either as I am going to see Tina the Musical. On the plus side, my new washing machine is soooooooooo quiet, I was wondering if it was actually working!
Not had a chance to catch up properly, so well done the losers & big hug to those in need.A smile costs little but creates much0 -
Still not feeling particularly great but at least I can get on and do a few things without having to sit down after 10 minutes to blow my nose and take my inhaler 'cos I can't breathe!
GTQ I think taking delivery of a washing machine is a great reason for not going to to WI. Unfortunately it probably means you'll have to pay for a back week which isn't great. I assume you've booked a holiday for next week so you won't have to pay that too when you go back the week after.
Was up early this morning but had actually had a fairly good night's sleep which was good. Sneezing was the problem - I just couldn't get back to sleep after that so up at 4.45am!
Today's plan:
B - scrambled eggs on toast (usually have spinach stirred through it but forgot to get any out!)
L - stuffed mushroom - will be stuffed with couscous with loads of herbs, spring onion, tomato, mushroom stalks, pepper stirred through. Will also have some salad & pickles with it
D - going to Five Guys for grandson's 21st birthday meal. I'm hoping they won't have a table big enough for us all when we get there so we can go somewhere else which hopefully will be more SW friendly! Is that bad of me? If not I'm going to have a mini bacon cheeseburger with grilled onions, grilled tomatoes, grilled mushrooms, lettuce & pickles without a bun which will be within syns (but unfortunately no alcohol to keep within syns!). That lot will be 12.5 syns so will be able to have a G&T when I get home and only be 0.5 over syns!

Denise off SW talk but hope you are feeling better....nothing worse and colds for causing disturbed sleep and even more so if use inhalers like me.
Everyone thanks for the help....am not sure on lunch yet but hubby is home tonight thought prawn stir fry and will take mine out before I bung a sauce in for him.
As for Muller light....never been my fav - find them too sweet some will look at alternative.
At best comfort meal is my own oven chips eggs and you guessed it mushy peas.
Keep up the good work0 -

:eek:Oh Denise! :rotfl:
It'll be interesting to see what happens. My DGD1 still wants to go to places like that (burgers, pizzas) but fortunately the younger one is a bit more varied in her tastes. It's odd as their mums are the complete reverse. Fortunately now that DGD1 is cooking for herself in her student house she has started some healthy eating. I live in hope.:)
Holiday times, like Easter and Christmas, are always tough on SW. There are a number of ways of approaching it. Mine was to take the scenic route to target (having off plan meals on special occasions and holidays). I found that sustainable and still do as it fits in with my lifestyle. What really, really matters is that you get back on plan as soon as you possibly can. Sometimes it's as simple as having one off plan meal (like denise might have tonight;)), sometimes it's taking some weeks off for a holiday but get back and do a meal plan and shop and you'll be fine. It'll just take a bit longer.:)
Well done for posting charlotte, Frankie and sirens. Go girls!!:D
I haven't a single potato in the house so need to do my meal plan and shop before I can decide on tonight's meal. I could have chilli with rice or pasta (again) but I love my chips  so I'd like a choice.
Back later.:)0 -
Thanks Vegastare. You're right colds are miserable.
For your stir fry why not just use some soya sauce and perhaps a tsp of honey (1 syn - so only 0.5 per portion) or if you want to keep it Free use some granular sweetener.
It's only natural yoghurts which are Free now - all flavoured ones are synced. I actually prefer Quark to yoghurt to have with fruit or if I do baked oats. DH still has natural Greek yoghurt which is Free (he isn't doing SW completely but mostly eats exactly the same as me).
You're not the only one on here that likes egg & chips - I like them but with baked beans and usually have pickles as well! Maman is another one that likes it but can only have it when she is on her own as her DH doesn't like eggs!
