Sorry to hear your news TTD. Good on you for staying to group. It least it is something you can stay in control of. Look after yourself. Your kids need you to be strong and healthy.

I was good at Five Guys and had the little bacon cheeseburger for 12.5 syns and a diet Sprite. Now having a small G&T before bed.

Would have been not too bad but DH had hospital appointment this afternoon and we were both hungry but there wasn't anything healthy there so ended up with a piece of coffee and walnut cake:eek:. No idea on syns but suspect it's as many syns as the burger if not more! Going to count it as 15 to be on the safe side so will have to watch what I eat and drink the rest of the week!

Well done Suffolksue on making the decision to do your meal plan and shop accordingly. If you're buying treats for DH make sure it's something you don't like or that you can have within your syns!!!

Starting on the damage limitation today! No wine tonight.

B - Fry up (without bacon!) - 2 butchers sausages (2 syns), egg, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, peppers
L - Greek salad (sort of!) - mixed leaves, cucumber, tomato, spring onions, peppers, salad cheese (HEA1); 8 olives (2.5 syns) dressed with a HM oil free dress plus the usual pickles - onion chutney, beetroot, onions - all Free
D - mixed fish pasta bake; 4 syns for cheese sauce mix; green beans & peas

    HEA1 - salad cheese
    HEA2 - milk in drinks
HEB - nothing planned but maybe a couple of hifi bars

    Syns - 8.5 syns - as above

Very windy here too! If I'd got washing to do think it would blow away, LOL! Glad I did it yesterday. Now all dried and put away so no more to do for a few days:eek:

DH cooked breakfast and cooked some black pudding as well:eek:; was quite good only ate half of it (will reheat the other half tomorrow:D). Biggest problem - it doesn't help with damage limitation! Another 5 syns to add today and again tomorrow! Have to say it was very nice! Must admit I'd forgotten it was in the fridge, left over from last weekend.

I have never had black pudding cooked:eek: we used to have it as kids cold with a ham salad, i used to love it like that with a dallop of salad cream, good job our taste buds change:rotfl::rotfl:

I have to confess that I had black pudding last week.:o I'd been really good all week so for my last hotel breakfast I took a slice. My dad always loved it so I was used to it growing up although we had the rings then not the big slices you have now and we called it black sausage. Just looked and it's 10 syns for 100g! OMG!

That might help explain why the clean jeans test this morning is proving a bit uncomfortable.:( All I can do is keep plodding. It's a week before I'm eating out again so I'll do my best.

That being said, I'm having lunch out today but that's only a quick meal before the football so I'll have a JP.

I cooked the meatballs and sauce last night so they're in the fridge ready. I left some of the water out of the sauce (never trust SW recipes on liquids:() so I'll thin it down later and add mushrooms for extra speed.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, fried egg, baked beans, HEA milk for drinks
    L: JP with tuna
D: SW meatballs in spicy sauce with spaghetti and HEA2 Parmesan
Syns: mayo? might have a bite of Crunchie? weekend wine:D

I had the same problem with clean jeans mid week Maman after the weekend! Had to lay down on the bed to do them up! Have to admit I put them out for the wash that night so only wore them one day. They're now back in the drawer until I'm nearer bottom end, LOL! They only fit if I'm at target or below and I definitely wasn't after easter.

It’s the half pound lady weighing in yet again! :rotfl: Every week I lose half a pound. Total weight lost now 1st 5.5 lbs.

I think I would fall off the scales if they ever said it was more than half a pound loss!
