It's sounds as though things are progressing well for your DH. A rehab bed by the end of the week and then home next week is sounding very positive.

    Today's plan:

    B - boiled eggs & soldiers
L - jacket potato, cottage cheese, salad - mixed leaves, cucumber, spring onion, pepper, grated carrot, pickled onions, dressed with balsamic vinegar
D - HM beef biryani using up the last of the beef joint from Sunday. Will be using the biryani spice mix I bought back from Goa in January

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - no idea at the moment but think I'll try to find something for dessert to use up some Syns! I had a can of 'full fat' tonic last night which I'd picked up accidentally just to use up a few syns but can't do that today as there are none left!

You can also make them using your oats (HEB) blitzed up, an egg & some plain yoghurt. I quite like them but DH not so keen so tend to just do baked oats now rather than pancakes.

Love them on a Saturday (only time I have time to make them) with strawberries, yum :D

    Morning all

Working from home today, so a bit more flexibility with food...

B - Fruit (raspberries, strawberries, pear and a banana) with 100g full fat Greek yog (3) tablespoon honey (2.5) and 2 tbsp chia seeds (HEXB)
L - Probably an omelette with ham, tomatoes and 30g cheese (HEXA) with vegetables (broccoli, peas, cabbage and cauliflower)
D- Not sure yet. I've got some Glorious sweet potato thai massaman soup that works out at 5 Syns for the whole pot so might have that. I might also switch lunch and dinner up - but either way I am fairly sure that's my meal plan for today.

That's 10.5 Syns in one day just in 'normal' food ;-) That is how I prefer to use my Syns though and why I like SW. Some days I keep my meal Syns low and have a bar of chocolate. Other days, I like to really enjoy my main meals and use the Syns for that purpose. Breakfast was delicious!

EDIT: Just realised that the Chia seeds are a B choice. That's three Syns saved :-)

I'll second that and it'll cut your journey time too sue. Pleased for you.:)

Thanks for the skinny syrup info. I'm OK at the moment as it's a huge bottle from Jordans and I only have porage once or twice a week max. I've got salted caramel now but will try the golden syrup flavour next (probably next year!:D).

That's a huge positive of SW lioness in that we get to choose exactly how we want to use our syns and we're all different. The number just gives us a good guide on how many makes a healthy balance. Good luck with fitting yours in denise.:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage, HEA milk, banana, skinny syrup
L: ham, egg, tomatoes, mushrooms, fried mash (with BNS and broccoli mixed in)
D: chicken casserole (carrots, onion, leeks, mushrooms, courgettes) with butter beans and new potatoes
    Syns: cornflour 1

    Afternoon everyone,

Great losses coming in - well done losers!

    Thanks for the chart ChrisV

Sue I hope hubby is in a rehab bed and closer to home soon.

Have been busy at work and home the past couple of days so a bit AWOL, but checking in here keeps me on track, and I like to know what you're al up to :)

    Foodplan yesterday:
    B - nectarine & banana
snack - millionaires hi-fi bar (lady at work brought some in so tried one - hmm ok-ish) 1/2 HEB
L - mixed salad with ham, dressing (2); 0% greek yogurt with mango and strawberries & apple. Ryvita other 1/2 of HEB
D - Grilled chicken with savoury rice and mixed salad and pickles onions, dressing (2)
    HEA milk in drinks

    Today's plan:
    B - banana & nectarine
L - mixed salad with LO chicken breast, dressing (1), Ryvita HEB; 0% greek yog with strawberries & mango
D - SW meatballs & pasta meal with salad if needed dressing (2)
    HEA - milk in drinks
    B -
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Sary - don't forget you have had 1/2 your HEB with the hifi bar! Like you I'm not particularly impressed with the Millionaires Shortbread one. I'll eat the ones I bought but won't buy them again. Still prefer the fruit and nut or the rocky road ones.

Will use 10 syns today:D; having a can of cider 8 syns; and had a tsp of olive spread on each of my slices of bread 2 syns.

I think I'm going back to the syn bank next week - I'm finding it really hard having syns everyday:rotfl:.
