Thank you all for support,he is certainly grumpier today !
Having a lot of leg pains ( on going problem) and I thought he was starting to retain fluid again ,but he has walked more ,with a frame than he has for over a week .
No news on bed ,assume it's one in one out .if his mobility continues to improve and no bed materialises then next week I will push for straight home .
Reasonable SW day but could have been better .
Didn't sleep well last night so heading to bed soon
Again thank you all for the support,I do appreciate it

Good to hear your DH is improving and walking more with his frame. He must be improving if he was grumpier yesterday!

Good that you are trying to stick to plan but again good when can careful when you can't.

WI for me this morning and hoping for a bigger loss than usual having stuck to plan properly for the whole week!

Back later after WI and some shopping. Also doing a click and collect from Asda so I could get a couple of their legs of lamb which are a good price this week.

    Morning everyone,

Quick post to report -1.5lb loss this week. Pleased to see slightly improved losses and hoping the new weekly exercise class/torture session is to be thanked. Off there again tonight and already booked in for the next month, so I am committed to going.

Not cooking as sick tonight so I can please Myself on what I have. Will have to put my thinking cap on but it may resemble my lunch again ;)

    Meal plan:
    B - apple, nectarine & satsuma
L - mixed salad, LO savoury rice, ham & dressing (2)
D - ditto above at the moment, unless I feel inspired later

Hope we all have a good day, and hope DH is improved again Sue.

How are you doing Beanie? Recovered from your fall now I hope.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

I'm sure you'll still have a loss Beanie - you always seem to say you won't!

Wasted 5 syns on tasters this morning but never mind still 100 + up to 20 extra over the week if I want them!

I was a bit disappointed with only a lb loss this week after sticking to plan properly rather than using the normal sun bank! Don't think I'll be bothering again in a hurry, LOL!

    Today's plan:

B - strawberries, grapes and quark; fruit & nut hifi bar (0.5 HEB)
Tasters: small piece of stuffed jacket potato (1.5 syns); 1/4 scotch egg (2 syns); Carrs water biscuit (1.5 syns).
L - pea and ham soup (but didn't eat the tinned ham which I'd chopped into it - the texture was horrible!); 1 slice of bread (0.5 HEB)
D - sea bass traybake - potatoes, carrots, butternut squash, garlic, onions, aubergine, courgette. Don't think I've got anything else in the fridge to put in it!

    HEA - milk
HEB - 1 hifi bar; 1 slice WM bread
Syns - as listed above 5; 3 small glasses of wine 15

Booked my next holiday this morning - ferry to France with the motorhome - from mid May to mid June! Want to try to get to bottom end of target range (or even drop out the bottom, LOL!) before I go:D.

That's exactly what I thought. It's a good sign if he's getting fed up of the hospital. Hope it's been a good day sue.:)

:T well done on your loss sary and you, too, denise even if it is smaller than you'd hoped.

I think I'll wait to hear how you get on tonight beanie. You've mislead us so often!;)

I'm using up veg from the fridge too. I'm trying to get through to Sunday lunchtime buying a minimum, if anything. Then we're out on Sunday evening and going away Monday for 4 days. I'm doing stir fry veg as a side and we'll probably have it again on Saturday.:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, scrambled eggs, HEA mil for drinks
    L: LO chickenless casserole
D: HM burger, SW chips, roast BNS, tomatoes, stir fry veg (cabbage, peppers, spring onion, courgette, mushrooms, mange tout, asparagus)
    Syns: HP sauce 1
