    DH is home !,!!
Got a phone call at 10 am to say they'd decided he didn't need rehab and when could I collect him !
Think that translates as 'there isn't a rehab bed and we need his'
They said pick up at 2,I said ok ,then an hour later they said he would be upstairs in the discharge lounge .
Got there at 2 and we waited until 3.30 for all his drugs ,came in drifts and drabs .
Charge nurse helped get him in the car and away we went ,hairy this end getting him out and down the path into the bungalow, but we managed .
He is weak ,still grumpy but I think glad to be home !
He requested fish and chips tonight ,won't be repeated .
SW starts again tomorrow, but think I'm going to be getting lots of body magic
Well done all the losses andthankyou all again

    Brilliant news:j:j:j:j
Hopefully he will pick up even more now he is at home in his own environment .

  • Fab news Sue for both of you. No matter how miserable he feels, he going to feel much better at home.

+1 this week, could have been so much worse! Birthday plans were in place for this weekend, didn't expect to be eating out 5 times this week. Why is it that there is so little speed when you eat out? The most difficult part was actually getting home late so not really able to prep properly for lunch & breakfasts, so I suppose in the grand scheme of things, although a gain, it is probably as good as a loss.

Thanks all .the tv has been on constantly,I'm NCIS 'd out and now we're watching paint dry (aka The Masters)!
Also discovered that whilst I love the smell and thought of fish'n' chips ,I don't actually like them anymore !,

I've got a DH like that anyway sue! Gets on my nerves - he's constantly watching repeats of shows we've already seen. TV goes on as soon as he gets up and doesn't go off until we go to bed unless of course we go out shopping etc. I just get on here or read a book. It's also why I like to get away in the motorhome as much as possible as the TV doesn't get used anywhere near as much because we rarely have electric hook up and need to rely on batteries!

I assume that the Masters is on Sky sue. We both like golf so I wouldn't mind that too much, lol!

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs with a little grated cheese on toast - HEB + part HEA2
L - ham with fried up LO potato & veg
D - burger (low fat from butchers); HM chips; beans. 0.5. Followed by HM vanilla & cardamon pannacotta 0.5 - recipe from SW website

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - little cheese (part)
    HEB - bread
    Syns - burger 0.5; pannacotta 0.5; probably wine 15

Have a good day and weekend everyone.

Yes jokedthe Masters is on sky
We went back to sky on 1/3 .DH can't play golf anymore,it is unlikely he'll be able to get to watch hi beloved Norwich with our son again ,so this way he an watch more Sport including cricket
Also as a returning/ new customer I got a cheaper deal than the renewal BTwere offering .in 18 months who knows what will happen .
We had a really bad night ,he had terrible leg pains .
Had Museli and ff Greek yoghurt fot breakfast ,having washed, dressed and helped him into his chair I'm going food shopping whilst he sleeps
Hope everybody has a good day .

You too sue.:) At least it's looking like Norwich might be on Sky next season.:)

We don't have Sky, so on the rare occasions my team is on television for an away match we go to the pub!:D Not very SW friendly. I suppose I should thank Mr Murdoch for only putting us on twice this season. ;)

Not 100% sure about today. I'm going to be out at lunchtime so it'll either be a salad or JP in town or a JP when I get home. It depends how hungry I get.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs, baked beans, HEA1 milk for drinks
    L: JP/salad?
D: SW Bolognese with tagliatelle and HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns: weekend wine!:j
