Reporting in with a teeny weight loss yet again. HALF A POUND so total is now 1st 4.5 lbs but I am into “another number” on the scales so that’s something.
It seems that half a pound or a pound is normal for me and I would love it to be more because I really, really do work hard to lose even that!0 -

A loss is a loss, slow and steady wins the race x

Well done Tete, Matronmidge & Pennylane on your losses. Penny I also tend to lose between 0.5 and 1lb at a time, and am at a similar amount of total loss to you too. I try to look at it from the viewpoint that I gained the weight steadily over the last couple or so years on a half pound a month basis, so losing it at the same rate isn't so bad. I have to move around a LOT to make any difference, despite being totally on plan, and trying to keep well below 15 syns allowance each day, but I do make sure to use syns each day.
Well I've had a very busy day today, having a good thorough clean of the downstairs, and then decided to move furniture around in the lounge, and that ended up being a total de-clinker and took me about 5 hours or more in total to get it all done. Feeling a bit sore now, but that's my body magic definitely done today.
I am feeling a bit more energetic I've realised, as 4 months ago I'd have sat or laid on the sofa most of the day, probably have had a little nanna nap in the afternoon, then had takeaway/fast food for dinner, struggling to stay awake much past 10pm. I'm very relieved because one of the main motivators to lose weight was that I was clearly getting very unfit, lazy and I could tell it was the start of a slippery slope. Just laying down I could feel the weight on my chest restricting my breathing. How had I allowed myself to get to that?
Anyway, ramble over
Meal plan today:
B - 0% greek yogurt with passionfruit (0.5)
L - bacon, eggs & beans, wm toast HEB, ketchup (1) butter (2)
D - sw chicken chow mein
snack - few strawberries
Didn't really feel that hungry today, but then tomorrow I could be ravenous so I'm happy to go with the flow.
I tried Sainso's TTD skinny sausages yesterday evening, and thought they were very nice. They are less fat, less saturates and less sugars than the BGTY cumberland sausages, and 5 calories more (138). Can anyone confirm syn values please?
Bought easter eggs for the children and respective partners today, and OH and I both agreed we'd rather not have any chocolate. Mind you, I've still got my egg from last year uneaten! One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
The TTD low fat sausages are just half a syn each sary . I'll give them a try as we normally have the BGTY Cumberland.
We're in Liverpool from Monday to Thursday bubbs . The next week is going to be a bit of a write off SW wise. Hotel breakfast will be OK but after that it'll be sandwich lunches and a lot of eating out in the evenings. We're out tomorrow evening as well and no idea what's on the menu. My plan is to enjoy whatever comes my way and then make a plan to get back on track after Easter.:)0 -
Morning all, WI this morning.
Down about 1/2 lb this week, which doesn't make up for the plus 1lb that I didn't report last week
.
Tomorrow is wife's birthday. I don't celebrate them, and she likes to forget them, but nevertheless I have in the freezer a rather large selection of both meat and veggie snacks to cook for tomorrow. She was going out with colleagues, now she isn't, so I suspect we shall both stay in and put our snouts in the trough.
I bought the stuff, I'm going to cook the stuff, I'll have the washing up to do afterwards, so sure as hell I'm going to have a 'synful' if you'll excuse the pun.
I may post a picture of my overindulgence later, to get some learned opinions from you lot.0 -
Yesterday started well, and I was on plan with my meals, it was just the rest of it.
I've realised that I can't have anything in my house that could be mistaken for snack food otherwise I binge...til it's gone, it seems.
So, ingredients only.
The 'pizza' on the ww wrap was very nice though and I'll make that a semi regular meal, for a take away type night.
pennylane and saryI've had to also come to the realisation that this is going to be a longer journey that I'd first anticipated, though I think for me, it's because of 'me'.
I'm learning a lot about myself and my relationship with food. Lessons I probably haven't learnt previously because I would've given up by now.
Food for today:
B: scrambled eggs (I think)
L: ww wrap(HEA)(HEB) ham & mushroom pizza
T: Aldi skinny sausages x 3 (4.5 syns), carrots, cabbage, mashed potatoes, gravy (4 syns)
HEA milk for hot drinks0 -

You and me both - all the way to target! You'll get there eventually. I know it seems slow but as Beanie says keep plodding!
Seems like there are quite a lot on here who also have lost at the slow rate!

I think you always feel better after a good nights' sleep. I had a good night as well and I feel quite different as you say more human!
Got loads of washing to get done today. It looks as though the weather is going to be OK to get it dry. First load is nearly done. I put that load in before we had breakfast (cooked by DH).
Today's plan:
B - Bacon, egg, mushrooms, peppers, tomatoes, beans
L - Smoked salmon & salad sandwich - or might just have a smoked salmon salad and then have something this evening with my HEB. See how I feel later
D - roast leg of lamb, roast potatoes, roasted onions, peppers, carrots, cabbage & peas
HEA - milk in teas
HEB - still to decide - bread or Ryvita
Syns - LTL mayo 0.5; nothing else planned as way over the last couple of nights!
Have a good day everyone
