Good luck for the op tomorrow. Good idea to make some soup which will just need reheating when you get home.

I'm just making some Syn Free lemon meringue pie as have loads of lemons in the fridge because my friend gave me 4 yesterday as she was going on holiday - love free food:money:. The recipe makes 4 ramekins.

Just taken them out of the oven and they look lovely - just have to wait for them to cool down and put the in the fridge for pudding tonight and tomorrow night.

  • Good luck to tomorrow Bubbs, forget SW for the day, your health more important.

Think I put on 1st yesterday:eek: was taken out for lunch by DB, DS and BiL for my birthday. Ate too much, off plan but really enjoyed the profiteroles:rotfl: Back on plan with a vengeance today, trying SP day, hoping it works as I don't usually have luck with them. Had poached egg in spicy tomato for breakfast, have made veg soup & will cook chicken with veg for dinner, if nothing else, unlike last week, I have some prep done for tomorrow & Tuesday.

Should do the ironing, but really need a chilled day, so currently arguing with myself:D

GTQ profiteroles aren't too bad a choice for dessert (depending on how many you had of course!) @ 3.5 syns each with cream & sauce, so you could have 4 within syns if you didn't have any other syns!

It's not as if you eat out and go off plan every day! Call it a Flexible Syn day!

Like you I don't find SP days work well for me - I still only lose 0.5 or lb! so I'd rather not bother.

Good Luck tomorrow Bubbs will be thinking of you
  • Hey All, Well done to all the losers, stay the samers and gainers, stick at it.

Been a little off this week, not that I'm off plan but finding hard to motivate myself into cooking, been picking at fruit and using the SW fridge I have here for back up quick dinners quite a lot this week, more than normal.

Mrs TTD went out with her friends last night, I think after the first Gin she forgot she was on SW, I had a phone call at 1:30am in the morning by her friend that said she is "taking a good look down the toilet, calling Ralf, and telling me she loves me" eeeewww, when I got to her outside the pub, she was being carried out the pub like an injured rugby player being taken off the pitch, yip! a person under each arm, and acting as though the floor had imaginary potholes that had to be dodged. It was 3:30am this morning when I finally hit the pillow, after having to wait for my wife to stop calling Ralf in the toilet, undress, and re dress in PJ's, get a sick bowl, get her onto the sofa whilst listening to the incoherent ramblings of a drunken Welsh wife, had fun showing my wife the Dashcam footage of herself this morning though coming out the pub the painting called "The Scream" is the only facial reaction I could accurately describe her reaction to seeing herself trying to walk.

I had to wake at 10 then to take my children for a horse ride that was booked weeks ago. Safe to say I left my wife at home, I didn't want her scaring the horses with her make up looking like the joker just had a punch up with batman.

WI tomorrow, the amount of fluids lost by my wife last night i'd be surprised if put on, me I'm expecting a 1/2 to 1 1/2 gain for not properly eating.
