    DH is home !,!!
Got a phone call at 10 am to say they'd decided he didn't need rehab and when could I collect him !
Think that translates as 'there isn't a rehab bed and we need his'
They said pick up at 2,I said ok ,then an hour later they said he would be upstairs in the discharge lounge .
Got there at 2 and we waited until 3.30 for all his drugs ,came in drifts and drabs .
Charge nurse helped get him in the car and away we went ,hairy this end getting him out and down the path into the bungalow, but we managed .
He is weak ,still grumpy but I think glad to be home !
He requested fish and chips tonight ,won't be repeated .
SW starts again tomorrow, but think I'm going to be getting lots of body magic
Well done all the losses andthankyou all again

Sue just seen this. That's great news that DH is home. I'm sure it will be easier for you to manage rather than having to keep going to the hospital.

Think you're right about there not being a rehab bed for him! They didn't want him being a bed blocker either!

Just remember you need to look after yourself as well as DH.
