Thanks for the chart chris. You're on the ball this morning! How are things with you?:)

Good to hear some positive news sue. Hope it's a good day for you both.

That's a good idea to list the things you really think are worth using syns for Frankie. That'll be different for everyone but we all have to prioritise treats. I like crisps too but I find I'm OK if I don't have them in the house. I know it's more mse to buy a multi pack but if I know they're here they call to me. I can ignore cakes and biscuits and sweets but not crisps. What I do now is have them as an occasional treat on holiday so with a packed lunch on a plane or train or with an M&S sandwich at a service area.

We're away for a few days next week. That'll mean 3 hotel breakfasts sary. I'm not saying they'll be syn free but with a buffet I can keep it quite low. I have bacon, eggs, baked beans, mushrooms, tomatoes and start with a bowl of fruit. I avoid sausages and sometimes I'll have one or two hash browns unless I'm confident they have wholemeal toast.

I need to think carefully about food up until next Sunday. because we're going away I won't be doing my usual shop at the end of the week and although it's only four days I don't want to leave too much fresh stuff around.

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, scrambled eggs, HEA milk for drinks
L: LO fried veg and possibly some meat or pickles with it.
D: lemon sole, cauli steaks, broccoli, tomatoes, mushrooms, SW chips
    Syns: HP sauce 1
  • W.I tonight, I got an infection at my operation site that I've been dealing with all week, I'ts getting better slowly, but its not going to put me off my group night tonight. Not hoping for nothing, I've been less than useless this week.

    Thanks Maman :)

Things not too bad here, improving, albeit slowly. Grandchildren off school for 2 weeks, so why were we all up with the larks this morning lol - at least they keep my mind off my own aches and pains :)

TTD Glad your infection is clearing up, it amazes me the number of people who get infections in a hospital. I think it's a higher number now than it used to be, probably down to getting rid of in-house cleaners who seemed to do a much better job of cleaning than the private contractors do.

WI probably won't be as bad as you're expecting. I think we all think the worst when we haven't stuck to plan properly.

Thanks chris for the chart and congratulations to poundsinbucks for being our SOTW.
