I’m thinking of setting my end target, my wife says she hasn’t thought about it as she knows if there are blips along the way she would feel unnesseary pressure and feeling guilt that may dissuade her.

I quite understand your wife's thoughts. I was very much the same. Once I was happy with how I felt I called target. Unfortunately when I went to my Dr for something she was unhappy with my weight and told me I needed to put ON 1/2 stone:eek:, so I had to reset my target and that actually took me 1/2lb above my Club 10! But I have managed to stay thereabouts since 2012 so it's obviously the right weight for me.

Very happy to report -5.5lbs after WI today, resulting in my 2st award, Club 10 and SOTW 😇💪🏆🤣. Such a difference from my STS last week, thank goodness! I cut back on the amount of fruit even tho it was Speed, watched my portion sizes, and did not have more than 5.5 Syns a day. Thanks for all the tips and advice :o. Still have a loooooooong way to go.

Well done to all losers so far this week and thanks chris for our new chart.

Cannot believe the change in weather between yesterday and today. Was busy in the garden yesterday in short sleeves, this morning I wished I had put my gloves on when out with the dog! Had drizzle most of the day, bit of blue sky now finally.

Made the Spiced Indian Beef Mince from the SW website yesterday, added mushrooms and had it with cauliflower and raita, was lovely and enough left for today.

    Poundsinbucks x :D
    🥳🥳 SW -6st 3.5lbs 🥳🥳

WOW! that's an absolutely brilliant loss and to get your 2st shiny and your Club 10 certificate and SOTW - amazing. Well done.

I've done the spiced Indian beef from the website as well but I usually use my own spice mix when I do any curries as I don't find the SW recipes are particularly flavoursome. I don't like it too hot but do like flavour!

Thank you :D. Yes I added more spices for more flavour, but was nice to do something different with mince instead of bolognese or chilli :rotfl:.

Does anyone else make a salad using cooked cauliflower? It is lovely with beetroot, gherkins and boiled egg. Needs salt & pepper and I add ff vinaigrette too, or some of the gherkin jar liquid ;). Makes a nice change from lettuce plus adds Speed.

That salad sounds nice but not sure DH would eat it and I refuse to do anything that we won't both eat, the only exception is when he wants a fish finger sandwich which I absolutely hate! I usually have a LM Rosemary and Red Onion sausage sandwich instead. If I have a cauliflower when we wants FF sandwich think I might try the salad. Have saved the "recipe" to my desktop so I don't lose it!

I met my Auntie today and took her for a quick lunch. She had scampi, chips and peas and I had a green salad with little chicken pieces and a few slithers of avocado.

I came home starving and cold and thank god I had made a SW quiche yesterday. bacon, red pepper, spring onions etc. If that had not been there I would have raided the fridge and cupboard!

I did chicken tikka for tea with rice and half a naan. No pudding and I am still starving. I will be glad to go to bed tonight!
