Belated birthday wishes Denise
Sorry to hear things aren't so good at the moment SuffokSue
How are you feeling now Beanie? Hopefully not so sore.
Had a day out on Saturday with OH, and factored in a healthy lunch when we stopped off in Bury St Edmunds. However, I started to feel unwell during the lunch, and felt rotten most of the rest of the day. Felt hot, nauseous, bloated and really tired. Got home and just lay on the sofa for the rest of the night.
Felt fine by Sunday morning. Spent Mother's day being a great mum and finished off the decorating in son #3's room ready for him to come home. Had 3 out of the 4 put in the effort to see me and got nice gifts and flowers. Son #2 needs to try harder :rotfl: but the rest of them just think he makes them look even better
Food plans this weekend were -
Saturday:
B - banana. 0% yogurt with mango and strawberries
L - baked potato with mixed side salad, cheese HEA and ham
D - 2 slices of wm toast HEB & (6) with spread & scraping of marmalade (4)
HEA 2 milk in tea/coffees
Sunday:
Brunch - mixed salad with peppered ham, cheese HEA & dressing (2)
Dinner - *coughs* dominoes pizza... but I chose the lighter version (yes there is one!) but suffice to say syns were off the chart!
Today:
B - porridge with apples (1.5) & sugar (1) milk from HEA
L - mixed salad with peppered ham, cheese HEA2 & ryvita HEB. 0% yogurt with strawberries & mango
snack - banana
D - M&S teriyaki beef (2) wth stirfy veg, noodles & beansprouts
It's mine & OH's 16th 'anniversary' today (we're not married, but that's when we started officially dating) so I treated us to a nice dinner, and it was really yummy.
Bit of a stressful day today as it was our audit at work, and I was one of the lucky victims chosen to be grilled  I also had the dentist this morning, and need some work on a tooth, so going back in a few weeks. Then to add insult to injury, I had an online shopping account compromised at the end of last week, which led to me having to cancel my debit card, which in turn meant I realised I couldn't then pay for the dentist appointment  Was fortunately able to go into the local branch and withdraw some cash, but what a blooming faff. Cheeky beggars had got 2 deliveries in as many days before I saw the pending payments on my bank a/c. Really not happy, and the payment is STILL pending in my bank a/c today, and the lady in the branch said she didn't know what would happen to that when I asked. Marvellous.
It was the kind of day I could have face planted into a cheesecake, but I didn't :TOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Weigh in last night -3.5lbs
It means what I'm doing is working so I'm carrying on.
I've got veg to use up this week so will spend some time tonight getting together my meal plan up until shopping day on Saturday.
I've noticed that I use more syns when I'm with people. I might have to be a hermit for a few months!0 -

That's excellent Frankie. Well done you!:TI've noticed that I use more syns when I'm with people. I might have to be a hermit for a few months!
Do you mean eating out or visiting people's homes? That can be difficult especially refusing what someone's cooked for you. If you know you're going out then you could save syns or engineer to meet up somewhere 'safe' like a coffee shop where you stick to coffee or a caf! that does jacket potatoes or similar:).
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, 2 fried eggs, HEA milk for drinks
L: cold pork, fried veg and beetrootsausage, mash, fried onion, carrots, cauli, broccoli, spring greens/cabbage
Syns: BGTY sausages 2, HP sauce 1, gravy?
Quite a synful day today relatively speaking but I can afford them.;)0 -
That's a great loss FrankieM. Maman is right about eating out, it's definitely worth saving Syns. If visiting friends it's best to let them know that you are following SW but if you don't want to do that perhaps tell them you need to cut back on your fat as your cholesterol levels are getting a bit high!
Succumbed to some skinny popcorn last night so a few extra syns. I've been off plan a lot so don't suppose a few syns will make much difference! Not expecting anything better than an STS and more likely a gain!
Today's plan:
B - boiled eggs & asparagus
L - HM vegetable soup; 1 slice of bread
D - sweet chilli chicken (2 syns); boiled potatoes, cabbage, cauliflower & green beans
Have some quark which needs using up so am making a Syn Free lemon meringue pie for pudding!
Snack - Hifi bar? 2 Ryvita with quark, ham & cucumber? Haven't decided which yet will see how I feel later.
HEA - milk; HEA2 - extra milk if needed
HEB - bread + ?
Syns - none planned

3 1/2 off for me this week. 2 for my wife. Feeling proud. Thinking of a final target number now.0
-
Great loss TTD and your wife. Well done. Are you both thinking about target now?
Congratulations SIRENS on being SOTW. Many thanks ChrisV for the chart.
The vegetable soup was lovely but only enough for today so nothing for the freezer. Am using the rest of the stock to make a pea & ham soup which should be enough lunches for me and DH for a couple of days later.
Am going to have to make another change to my menu plan as when we went to the greengrocers this morning he had some really lovely cauliflower at a good price so definitely a cauliflower cheese sometime this week. Also picked up a cabbage so that'll be enough for probably 4 meals - I'll be sick of cabbage having it 4 times in a week!
Weather has taken a turn for the worse and now raining. Was quite bright this morning. It's shame we've lost the nice weather we had at the weekend.
