I decided salad wasn't enough for my lunch so I made a sort of hash to go with the ham I wanted to use up. I fried up some potatoes with peppers, spring onions, mushrooms and courgettes and then some beetroot alongside.

Hope you have good news on Tuesday poundsinbucks. But don't deprive yourself. Soup for Sunday dinner wouldn't be enough for me.:(

Just putting my potatoes in the oven. We'll be joining you soon. :D

Out of interest, what size are your plates? Mine are 27.5 cm across or 18 cm for the eating part (mine have a rim) .

Highly recommend Skinny Whip bars from Home bargains. nice and chewy and only 4.5 syns.

99p for box of five so lot cheaper than HiFi bars and taste better too.

Sorry I couldn't update earlier. We've had the in-laws staying and my time wasn't my own.
I was-1/2LB at class on Friday. I did feel very frustrated as I thought I'd been very much on plan for two weeks but with hindsight, no measuring of hea's went on and I think I probably over synned too. Anyway, only 1/2lb to be back in range and I will be in it by Friday morning.
We had a great food optimising weekend. Salmon side, new potatoes and asparagus. No booze as my MIL is on medication so I used that to abstain myself (solidarity) and one of my brood bought me the PON book for Mothering Sunday and I've already made the cheeses leek chicken which was utterly scrumptious.
Anyway, off shopping for groceries this morning after I've done a wee bit of planning so I'll update with a menu later today.

Have decided what we'll be eating today but that's as far as this month's meal planning has got, LOL! Need to check freezers to see what I've got and then get planning!

    So today's plan:

    B - veggie omelette
    L - Linda McCartney sausages & onions in a sandwich (HEB + 2)
    D - beef tagine & couscous

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - spread 2
