Quiet on here again today. Maybe it's the beautiful weather we've been having. Hope anyone having a special meal for Mothers' Day enjoys it. Remember it's just one day and then back on plan tomorrow.;)

I stuck to my plan last night. No weekend wine as I was driving and resisted when I got home. Our meal was lovely. I passed on the quiche so I just had cold meat (lean ham and chicken) and loads of salads (pasta, rice, bean, green). There were some syns in dressings but overall even if I called it an over generous 10 syns I'd be saving on a usual Saturday.:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB toast, fried egg, baked beans, HEA milk for drinks
    L: ham salad
D: JO roast pork with roast potatoes, cabbage, carrots, swede & carrot mash, cauli, broccoli, red cabbage
Syns: HM gravy 4? weekend wine:D.

I'm never sure about how many syns to allow for HM gravy. It's just 1 syn of cornflour but although I remove as much fat as possible from the meat juices, it's hard to calculate.

Another day of temptation! went to the coast for a long walk in the sunshine. Went for coffee and sat in the sun and two very slim ladies came and sat on the next table and proceeded to scoff the most enormous Cornish pasties. I had nothing but coffee.:(.

then we walked back and people were sitting outside having fish and chips and I wanted some so badly but didn’t. Walked up to a fruit shop and bought some plums!

It had damned well better pay off at WI tomorrow!

I was reading this and thought I know what you mean then :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: at the plums hope you enjoyed them :)

Just back from my long weekend away. Have had a really off plan weekend! My DD2 popped in to see us and took us out for a meal for my birthday and also mothers day as she wasn't able to make it today. It was a lovely surprise.

I'm back on plan from today and will keep as low syn as possible.

    Today's plan:

B - SW fry up - cooked by DH
    L - chicken salad sandwich
D - sirloin steak, SW chips, onions, mushrooms

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns- chocolate biscuit 3?

Still sticking to plan here, so there had better be a loss on the scales come Tuesday.... Have eaten less fruit this week, less Syns in the evening (about 5 a day, even tho I am ‘allowed’ 5-20 a day), been drinking more water. Don’t think I can do any more than that.

    B: muller light with rasp/blueb/strawb (1 Syn)
L: mixed leaves with beetroot, gherkins, b egg
    D: Mulligatawny fom SW mag
    HEA milk for coffee
    HEB 2x hifi bars
    Syns: 2 mcvities thins = 3

Lovely Mothersday here; 21yr old home for the w/e, 19yr old other side of the world in Oz but had contact.

    Happy (belated?) birthday denise!

Will report back on Tuesday after WI. Getting close to my Club 10 and also my 2 stone award, hopefully!
