    Well done tete :T

Ever since you got into a routine with your job, you seem to have stayed on plan.

Infuriating about Tesco. I've never forgiven them for changing the recipe on pulled pork.

Sad news about your friend's mum sary and sorry to hear you're not feeling good tie.Sending hugs your way.:A

I don't think my lunch was too bad. 6 syns maybe for bruschetta and the pasta I had was tomato based. Then there was ice-cream in the theatre and wine syns..... ;)

    Evening all

Been another fairly nice day here again, lovely long lie this morning as son is at his grandparents!

    Meal plan:

Brunch - 2x boiled eggs and toast soldiers (1 syn for spread), tangerines & tea
Dinner - SW creamy mushroom papperdelle (mushrooms, peppers & onion) with a salad (lettuce, beetroot, tomato & cucumber)
Snacks - seafood sticks, hula hoop pufts (4), strawberries & melon

    HexA- milk for teas
    HexA - Cheese on pasta
    HexB - toast

    Syns - spread (1), pufts (4) & wine syns (?)

Quick question: does anyone feel the urge to eat more/overeat when they haven’t had breakfast? I’m not a great eater of a morning and eat quite lightly through the day when at work but make up for it in the evening, seems it takes my stomach a few hours to catch up with me in the morning. I’ve got awful IBS but the SW diet helps alleviate the symptoms massively, I’ve been trying to eat more in the morning other than fruit, any advice?

Sorry can't help about eating as i like eating what ever time:rotfl::rotfl:
SW consultant did say the later you eat the more likely you are to wake up hungry, so could try that?

    Surprise! It's me again!
Lost 2lbs on Tuesday, but feel like it's all back on - plus. I'll find out after the weekend.

Bairns relegated today; strangely, a relief really. Seaside league here we come. Maybe we'll be champions next season, ha ha.

Hope you're ok, beanie, and eavesdropping.
bubbs, your dinners look as tasty as ever.
You're still doing a sterling job, chris, with the chart.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the Saints, maman.
I've made quite a few of the recipes in PoN book and been pleased with every one so far.

Hope to pop back in sooner rather than later.
    Good luck, everyone.

Good to see you posting greentiger . Sorry to hear about your relegation. I know, we've been there although, once you've got used to it, being a big fish in a smaller pool does give a lift.:)

We've hung on (just). Thankfully, 3 teams worse than us. :D

I always eat a decent breakfast, lunch and dinner ashleigh and then rarely snack. There's a theory that you're more likely to eat badly if you don't have breakfast. That's because if you get hungry mid morning then you might grab biscuits or a synful coffee. I think it all comes down to self discipline. If you're not hungry then don't eat. What mattters is that when you do feel hungry, you eat the right things. :D
  • Morning All :hello:

+ 1lb for me this week

Memo to self to try harder .....

Thank you! Yes getting the job and being able to run again both came at the same time and really gave me a boost.

Ugh, it's so annoying when you find something you really like that works with SW and then they go and change it :(

Hi Ashleigh, I can never really face eating first thing but tend to get v hungry mid-morning whether I've had breakfast or not, so I stopped forcing myself to have breakfast and started taking fruit/carrot sticks into work to eat around 10.30. As Bubbs says, if I eat late I wake up ravenous - first noticed that when I was little and stayed over at a friend's house where they had supper before bed. So I don't do that now! As the others say, just do what works for you, but be prepared for it IYSWIM.

Sleazy - keep going! As long as the trend overall is downwards that's the main thing!

GT, sorry about your relegation but it will be nice to win a few matches next season at least (speaking as a fan of an up-down-up-down team myself!). I lost track of football a bit after my dad died, as it had been 'our' thing and it was boring without him, but we're playing for a play-off place today so I might listen to that. We need someone else's result to go our way too though so it'll be super stressful - typical Boro!

I made that Two Chubby Cubs parmo recipe last night but I think syn values have changed since it was written as Philadelphia Light doesn't seem to be a HEA any more, which made it about 6 syns. It was OK but not worth that many syns! I'm going to try their chicken and chorizo jambalaya today...

    Enjoy your Sunday everyone!

Morning all, really fed up with trying and failing with weight loss :( I’m sure it’s due to hormones (menopause) but still gets me down :(

    Plus 1lb :(

Do you think the menopause really does effect your weight or am I just looking for an excuse.
I haven't done my final weigh in yet.......
Will brave it when I've got my washing out and had a brew.

Loss of -1 lb for me.

This ends the challenge with an embarrassing 2.5 lb gain.

Chris will you put me down for 7lb in the next challenge please as I've got this far and I'm not giving up yet. Thanks.

I believe the menopause does change the way we store fat and burn it off, hence sometimes a bigger waist line, and that leads to low moods and the dreadful comfort eating and we all go there!!

My weight with and without dieting has changed since I am older , it is all around my middle with less up and round the back:).
I have always said that when my asthma is bad and I have steriods my eating is intense for a few weeks after and also I feel so low after them, and my weight just goes up....so changes to effect us.

    But keep the SW faith
