Thank syn-free food it's Friday!!
Reporting a -1lb loss this week please Chris (was actually 2.5lb before official weigh in day, but went up! grrrr!) It'll be back off next week.
Had an unplanned lunch today also. Went out with some colleagues, and thought we were going to a local hotel bar for a snack/drink where we've been before, so had a plan of what I was going to have. However, the curve ball was that one of them had reserved a table at a local cafe down the road, and I had no idea what was on their menu. Unfortunately it turned out what was on the menu was all off-plan. Eeeek! I'd no food back at the office to fall back on by just having a drink, and eating back there, plus everyone else was having lunch (as we'd agreed the week before to eat out). Argh! I hate situations like this. Anyway, while they were chit-chatting away I was scouring the menu for a suitable fall-back option, so here's today's plan:
B - nectarine, Fage 0% yogurt with raspberry & pomegranate (2)
L - cheese on wm bread HEB & HEX + extra 6 syns on the safe side (didn't eat it all)
D - mixed salad with cucumber, peppers, salad leaves, carrot, sweetcorn, pickled onions, baked potato, spread (2), b.beans, dressing (2)
HEA 2 - milk in tea/coffee
The cheese on toast was the worst I've ever had in my life. Tasted like it'd actually touched the grill element. The toast was wet and soggy, the cheese wasn't melted properly, simply yuk, so had no problem leaving half of it. Just a waste of money. My colleagues had scones with jam & cream, or sausages, egg & chips.... you get an idea of how difficult it was to choose.
Have had several NSV this week as 4 people have commented on the fact I have clearly lost weight. Today two of my colleagues both said so as I took my coat off this morning. I think I was wearing a more fitted dress, and my waist has gone in more. It gives you incentive to keep at it, and despite a small loss, I think things are shifting around bodywise and I can feel the difference in my clothes too. Just need my fat tummy to get smaller still  Still plenty of my left to be shed mind you, so not at all complacent. I can't see much difference in the mirror mind you, which is actually good incentive for me.
Stay warm with this rubbish weather forecast for the bank holiday.
Fantastic NSV :j0 -
Well done Sary on your loss and NSV:j:j:jIt’s been lovely here all day in sunny Scotland, unusual at this time of year. I’ve been thinking all morning who I can give it to but I grudge parting with it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Could I please have a recipe for your chicken Bubbs? Looks amazing!
I use boneless chicken thighs, but if you don't mind bones thighs are goo, i wouldn't use breast its not a juicy enough cut.
use smart price instant mash as tried them all and that;s the best:D
Paprika, mustard powder, garlic granules and ground black pepper. Mix dry ingredients together, dip chicken in beaten eggs, roll in the dry mixture, place on a frylighted tray, then spray chicken again, cook for about 20 mins, TURN OVER, this is important, then spray chicken again and cook for further 20 mins or until cooked.
Sorry no measurements i just pour it in :rotfl::rotfl:Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

Well done on the NSVs sary .:T
It's great when other people start to notice weight loss.
It's so infuriating when you have to eat out and there's nothing SW friendly available. It's even worse when you're forced to have syns and you don't even enjoy them.0 -
Bubbs just love your chicken recipes....does the instant mash recipe work well with fish.!!
Doing chicken tonight wrapped in bacon......when Him is home I have a never ending belly to fill
Have a great weekend folks.....just been out with pouch and boy is it chilly....thermal needed:)0 -
Have to admit I've never tried the instant mash instead of breadcrumbs. I have tried fine polenta and that works quite well too but don't bother any more because you have to syn it now but didn't use to have to - same with instant mash! I just use half my HEB wholemeal bread. It's something I ought to put back on my menu as haven't done it for a long time but will have to wait until after my holiday now as meal plan done until we go away!
Today's plan:
B - fry up - sausage, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, peppers & beans
L - smoked salmon & cream cheese bagel thin - HEB + 2 (have synned as 25g but will check how much I actually use and syn accordingly!)
D - Eating out at Chapter One so no idea on Syns at the moment
HEA - milk
HEB - bagel thin
Syns - Philly light 2; wine 15 plus meal syns
Going to have to be a lot of damage limitation next week!!!!

Have a lovely evening. Hope they're all enjoyable syns.:D
We're out today: lunch followed by a matinee. We're eating Italian and it's usually delicious so I'm not thinking about syns.
I've had my SW friendly breakfast (boiled eggs and HEB toast) and although I'll have lots of syns at lunchtime, I probably won't want to eat another meal this evening.
Back on plan tomorrow until Wednesday.:)0 -
I'm not even going to be on plan tomorrow as will still be at my sister's until lunchtime when she's doing wine & nibbles! No doubt a very beige do!!!!
I'll just have Monday - Wednesday to get the damage limitation in, LOL! I've got a 3lb leeway as bang on target on Thursday so should be OK and still in target for my holiday (don't want to have to book holiday's as have another 6 weeks booked later in the year!).

Sorry to hear that TIE. Try to relax about a bit about SW and that may help. Sometimes people just try too hard.
