Hi everyone. I'm back from a holiday in Scotland. We had a great time, walked miles everyday and apart from extra wine, we ate really well.
Weigh in tomorrow to see the damage (if there is any) and then I'll be working hard to stay in range.
    Today's plan is
    Hea milk
    Heb 2 hifi bars
B banana and yogurt with SF syrup in it
    L frittata and salad
    D spaghetti bolognase

Hopefully I won't be joining in with the new challenge, just posting menus and checking in but we shall see tomorrow.

Well I have spent sometimes this morning trying to get to grips with the changes with the plan early this year, while group was mad last night and folk were arriving for the next group, i had no time before or after class to speak with leader.
I spoke with lady who takes money and she said " You would have been better joining last week as you would have got a new pack." When I said I did it seems I paid 2 weeks back to keep my previous weight loss and target.

Anyway I found some updates on that Book of Non site.

I was bewildered last night in group when it mentioned the fact that if you only have 15gram cereal you could also have your Hi Life bar HEB. So begining to get my head round it.

My problems is I don't embrace tech, not on Facebook and no apps on a swish phone.(sat next to someone last night and it was like Blackpool Illuminations) .

    You lot are great.

    Todays plan

B half portion Bran and soft fruit Nat Yog
L half tin B Beans bacon, mushroom

D Steak, mushrooms onion toms and maybe Jacket Pot

    Hi life bar Supper

Welcome back Vixstar. Hope you've now managed to get into a routine with your new job.

Good luck matronmidge for WI tomorrow. Hopefully you'll get back into target quickly. Glad you enjoyed your holiday.

Vegastore - half a portion of most cereals is 20g not 15g but no reason why you shouldn't have a full portion and then syn a hifi bar if you wanted to. You don't seem to have any syns in your plan for today and they are part of the plan so make use of them.

If you want to know anything about the plan just ask there is usually someone around who will be able to answer or look things up for you.

WI this morning was quite a shock - I actually lost another 0.5lb which puts me bang on target. Hoping to have a decent loss this week although that may be a bit difficult with 2 meals out - tomorrow and Saturday. Tomorrow is at a fairly local pub at lunchtime but have looked online at the menu and it doesn't look as though they do jacket potatoes. In fact it doesn't look like they do potatoes at all - unless of course they are at extra cost which isn't shown on the online menu! Will find out tomorrow, LOL! I'll do my best to choose sensibly.

    Today's plan:

    B - strawberries & quark
L - ham salad sandwich spread with LTL mayo - HEB + 0.5
D - stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon, jacket potato & roasted courgette salad with a citrus dressing - part HEA for Minibel light which I'll use to stuff the chicken breast. Bit disappointed as Mr T didn't have any pancetta or serano ham which I'd would rather have than bacon. There will be a couple of syns for olive oil in the dressing

    HEA1 - milk in drinks
    HEA2 - mini babybel cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - 1 Tbs LTL mayo 0.5; 1 tsp olive oil 2; couple G&Ts 6

Gain of for me this week +3lb

Really fed up with myself and lack of will power. However after a large gain I would normally feel sorry for myself and eat chocolate, but I feel more determined this week to make amends.

Chris could you put me down for 12lb this will take into the next stone bracket. Thanks for all your hard work
    Thanks x

Like denise said, that's just a complicated way of saying you can split your HEXs. So part cereal/part HiFi or part milk/part cheese.

You can obviously use the internet on a desktop/laptop/tablet (or you wouldn't be on here:D) to get onto the SW site and I don't think there's anything much more on the app it's just more portable on a phone. I use the app on my phone sometimes when I'm in shops to look up syns. Anyway, just ask if you need anything. :)

Well done on your loss denise. that was a pleasant surprise.:T

I went to WI and gained just half a pound. I'm happy with that as it's over a 7 week period that took in all the crisps and sandwiches and other off plan food I had when I was away at Easter. :D I'm right at the top of target range but it does mean I can relax this week, enjoy my 3 meals out and then try really hard after that to get as low as I can before I go away mid June. That's my aim but if I had to go back to paying for a while (like after my holiday) it wouldn't be the end of the world. The pay in lady said to me today that she thought I was very disciplined. I know I'm determined never to put the weight back on but it was nice of her to say so.:)

Decided to have a corned beef hash today as we really enjoy it. Ham hash (free) was on the meal plan but as everything is syn free on WI day I'm having a treat!;):D

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB Weetabix with HEA milk, half banana
L: JP with cottage cheese and pickles
D: corned beef hash, broccoli, cabbage
    Syns: hash 4

    Hi all,

Thanks for the welcome! Not going to group as doesn’t really fit into my work schedule so will do it from home, joined a few years ago and had great results so I know it works but unfortunately had an accident a year and half ago and ended up breaking my leg and ankle badly. Piled on the weight due to this so here I am!

    Meals today:

Breakfast - melon and strawberries, tea
Lunch - bacon, scrambled eggs, black pudding (Syns?), tomatoes, mushrooms, beans & a roll.
Dinner - tuna pasta (Mayo: 2 Syns) with a huge salad (lettuce, beetroot, tomatoes, cucumber & onions)

HexA 1 - milk for tea
HexA 2 - cheese on pasta
    HexB - roll.

Haven’t had dinner yet as still stuffed from lunch but that’s the plan, am I going wrong anywhere? I started officially last week and lost 4 lbs so will set my target for this challenge at 10 lbs

That was an excellent start, losing 4lbs Ashleigh. well done!:T

That looks like a pretty good menu for the day. Funnily enough I looked up black pudding this week and IIRC it was 10.5 syns for one of those large slices (about 8cm across). Not sure if you had that at home or out. If it was out there may be some other syns in the cooking too.

I'd definitely eat something later even if it's just the salad to keep your Speed food up.

I'm assuming a wholemeal roll and cheese within the allowance (30g for cheddar).

    Hope that helps.:)

Sorry not posted as often as liked...lets just say other half off work. Still I managed to feed him up and me down. At class lost
    3 lbs :j:j

Have stayed on plan and tried to save syns up last weekend for a glass or two off wine. Made homemade chips and fish and mushy peas on Saturday (crumbed as in SW recipe) him well pleased with them. Intend to try the same with chicken breasts crumbed later in week.
My main plan this week is to ensure a third plate is speeds. I let myself down with too little fruit and veg, get it in a breakfast - but drop off during the day.....old SW of years ago red and green days!!

Can someone tells me what Bubbs picture is then I can look up recipe.
    Chris

I will not be around for the full 8 weeks of the new challenge but would love to be added to the list if ok to miss a week. If ok can you put me down for 10 lbs

    Everyone stay positive:)

    Hi :D
Its a made up recipe but very nice if i say so myself:rotfl::rotfl:
Stuffed chicken breast, chopped onions, broc, mushrooms, sprinkle of garlic granules, fry till softened added 4 dairylee light triangles mix together, . (this was between 2 of us and 3 breasts cause we are pigs!):rotfl::rotfl:
Made a pocket in the chicken, Rubbed paprika over the outside of the chicken, stuffed the filling in, held together with cocktail sticks, sealed in a hot frying pan and then transferred too a hot baking tray, covered with foil and baked for about 20 mins, took the foil off and cooked for another 10 mins

10.5 Syns  it was out when at work, the cafe we go to does slimming world ‘style’ meals as the 2 owners are doing slimming world too. It wasn’t a huge slice but definitely not a small slice either so i’ll syn it at 10.5 Syns so I don’t underestimate! Was grilled too so I won’t count anything for oil, is that right? Thanks Maman for your help x

Just thinking and I misled you. :o

I looked up black pudding again and it was 10 for a 100g not a slice. Some brands are as little as 2 syns for a 33g slice so ignore my scare mongering. :o Perhaps count it as 3 or 4?:)

I envy you having a cafe that does SW. Grilling is fine, there's no need to add any oil to black pudding. :)
