Charlotte if that is all the syns you had yesterday then you were still within your syn allowance so not a "bad" snack. It was something you wanted and hopefully enjoyed. Definitely not something to beat yourself up about. Over the last couple of weeks I've been wasting syns on New York Wholemeal Bagels - they were a waste because they were 10.5 syns each and all because I picked up the wrong ones when I went shopping - needed the Thins as HEB!

Well done on the body magic!

Today's plan doesn't look to have a lot of Speed in it. What are you planning on having with the burger?

Today's plan will be an old style Green day:

B - scrambled eggs & spinach on toast
L - HM hummus (2 syns) with pepper and carrot sticks plus a couple of Ryvita
D - cauliflower cheese (4 syns) (to use up one of the 3 for £1 veg from Mr Ts:money:) with chips. Making syn free lemon meringue pies for after.

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB1 - bread
    HEB2 - Ryvita
    Syns - hummus 2;cheese sauce 4

WI for me tomorrow but not really expecting a loss as definitely over syns for the week. With a bit of luck it will be STS or a small gain but still within target!

  • I’m setting my target at 10.5 stone Monday at class I had in my head that I’d get to into 11 st bracket and beat my previous times lowest I would know I’m dedicated enough to follow on to target. With recent event now too I think It was enough to boost me into knowing what I wanted.

This thread really helps, you're all so supportive. I feel like I have a much better relationship with food than I ever had!! :D

I agree that this thread is really helpful. I know some people have consultants who support them through the week but I like the fact that this thread is almost instant. I always found it difficult that our consultant would collect in food diaries and go away with them and feedback during the week or even a week later.:(

To me, that's one of the best things about SW. Regardless of the weightloss I like the feeling (smug!) that I'm organised and that I eat healthily.:D

Good for you for finding the silver lining!:T

I'm definitely going to WI tomorrow. I announced it to DH this morning (so he knows not to make a huge breakfast) so it's fixed.:)

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, HEB porage with HEA milk, skinny syrup, half banana
L: LO fried veg, pickles and maybe a fried egg (no cold meat left in fridge)
D: SW Bolognese with tagliatelle and HEA Parmesan
Syns: none unless I go over a bit on HEAs (porage, drinks and Parmesan).

Advance warning of the new challenge

This challenge finishes Sunday night, so it's time to start thinking about the next challenge.

    Slimming Towards Summer

I will be starting the new thread at the weekend, and the new challenge will run from Monday 6th May to Sunday 30th June which is 8 weeks.

If you would like to be part of the next challenge please post clearly what you would like to lose during the challenge and I will add you to the spreadsheet.

The chart will probably be really helpful to help keep you within target range. It is much more difficult than anyone realises until they need to do it! I didn't expect it to be so difficult when I first got to target. It took quite a while to work out what works for me to stay within range.

Hi Chris, Thanks for this week's chart, and I'd like to take part in the new challenge please. Can you put me down for 8lb loss for the 8 weeks. Thank you!!:p

    Afternoon all,
Sorry I've been a bit AWOL, life has been busy.

Can't remember meal plans, except for yesterday was a bit off-plan with a lunchtime work do, when I had a sandwich and half a scone:eek::eek: Not to worry though as I did 1hrs clubbercise last night, and even my armpits ache this morning!! Who knew there were muscles even in there?!:o

    Meal plan today:
    B - banana
L - mixed salad with savoury rice, turkey breast, dressing (2); 0% greek yogurt with mango & strawberries.
D - either chicken breasts with something, or I might get some sausages out the freezer because I'm feeling cold at work today, so fancy something warming. Whatever it is will limit syns to maximum of (4) as I want to do some damage limitation for yesterday's lunch out where I had no control over what was available. Life is to be lived after all, and it was one meal. :A

Have had a quick read through past posts, but sorry not got time to respond to everyone.
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Damage limitation is the way to go Sary. Life is definitely for living as I always say SW fits around my life not my life around SW! One off plan meal won't ruin your week! Stick to plan until WI and you'll probably find you will still have a loss. May not be as big as you would hope for. When I've been off plan I'm always happy with a STS!
