PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Please also avoid posting personally identifiable information, including links to your own online property listing which may reveal your address. Thank you for your understanding.
We're aware that some users are experiencing technical issues which the team are working to resolve. See the Community Noticeboard for more info. Thank you for your patience.

As for "car crash", I've yet to see them post a single helpful or construction piece of advice on here. Their posts are tedious, predictable and largely ignored.
No, please let`s keep them, it is great entertainment.0 -

One of Pixie's great strengths was her extensive knowledge of the Scottish legal system; something that remains fragmentary among many Sassenachs and others on this board.
I don't suppose the mods took any account of that, or understand the disservice they've done to those in Scotland who may need help here.
This. Spot on.
I’m Scottish, bought a flat in Scotland, consider myself moderately knowledgeable on renting matters and the Scottish system, but I’m an infrequent poster and Pixies knowledge far surpasses mine.
Also I have a cat called Pixie so I’m sympathetic to the name :laugh:0 -
