Hi SunTemple
Great to meet you this afternoon, you will be pleased to know that aka Gloria was as successful as you. Judge had already made his decision before we sat down. No contract to enforce byelaws. Hearing only lated 5 mins, Only spoke to say “Good afternoon”, “Thank you”, and “My Expenses please”
Couldn’t have done it without the support of this forum0 -
To newbies stick to advice from bounty hunter brown trout and coupon mad.0

Assume one of the 3 must have been SunTemple as they are not a group member!0 -
I have not contributed anything of help to this thread, but I would like to add my thanks to everyone who has helped, and well done to everyone who has beaten these scammers.:TI married my cousin. Only peripheral contributions from me - there have been more heavyweight inputs from the others.
Happy to pitch in where I can, but I'm more of a very interested (and impressed) spectator, wondering (impatiently) when this is really going to explode in UKPPO's and BWL's faces.
My 'go to' first read on the forum each day when new, unread posts have been made. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

This thread is a real team effort, and mainly from the new posters who were handed the baton and have run with it, together.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I believe that each and everyone who wins on "no contract to enforce byelaws" should complain to the DVLA and their MP.
Indeed, everyone who gets a PCN should do this and refer to the other cases.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister. All my screwdrivers are cordless."You're Safety Is My Primary Concern Dear" - Laks0 -
Completely agree with this proposal. May I suggest that the problem is a minister who is only seeking a way to say "not muy business". I have pointed out twice now, via my MP, that the minister approves the by-laws and should be concerned that they are being abused.0

Bit of advice needed.
BWL have twice submitted supplementary WS/ Evidence in the form of a new letter or potential documented proof of contractual relationship at the last minute.
One was produced at the hearing, and given consideration by the judge - possibly because the defendant had also submitted a skeleton argument.
One was a couple of days before hearing date.
What is the official process for asking for these to be discounted & is a Judge likely to agree?
Many thanks for anyone's knowledge/expertise in this.0
