Ugh. Yesterday was farcical. I started very positively and was all raring to go.
I started in the garden but noticed my cactus (overly large) needed re potting so I did that. BUT got loads of pricks in my fingers....I was wearing gloves....so spent some time de pricking. Ok....put gloves back on (can you spot the deliberate mistake?) so within ten minutes I was de pricking again, gloves in the bin as they are covered.
The delivery came, put it all in the garden. knackered. stopped for lunch. all good so far. had small nap. Went outside to do the rabbits. discovered both are quite matted (moulting). Spent some time trying to sort it. Result, me sneezing them VERY angry. ordered clippers.
Came in to the bin upturned my chocolate flapjack things gone and two very guilty looking dogs. (and I don't care what dog experts say my dogs know they are not supposed to eat people food)
sorted that.
tried putting the new floor in the rabbit shed. ripped it. broke their storage box, banged my head and gave up.
spent the evening wondering if the dogs were going to keel over from the chocolate. They didn't. They did however fill the crate with poo! so great start.
Washing machine is on, dishwasher emptied, work tops cleaned. Going to hoover the house today and have tidy up. feels awful sitting here.
Shouldn't waste the nice day inside tho. Must sort the rabbits out. want breakfast. hmmm.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -
Thing is Buffy, in spite of all of that, you still seem really upbeat and ready to face the day...Not giving up

Yesterday I was so low in the evening. and this morning waking up to the dog poo wasn't my finest moment of pet ownership! But it is going to be nice weather today. And every day is full of possibilities. Plus I messaged a few friends with my tales of woe and they were kind.
Later when I have lost the will to live I will be here wondering why I am so unlucky!
(when I am not really)
Must not let myself get hungry today, that was part of the frustration with the floor.Nevertheless she persisted.0 -

For future reference, wrap a sheet of newspaper around the cactus, several times if need be, pop a bit of sellotape on to keep it done up and then you can use gloves as normal without getting pricked."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. C. Field.0

Sunday was a disaster, I am ok once I am at work but currently am alone in the house and realising how deeply and fundamentally unhappy I am. I have no enthusiasm for myself. I am so hurt by the dating situation. I am tired. hungry. lonely. I can't actually find any meaning to anything.
I still wish things had worked out with the Crush. These other dates are pointless. I think I will take a break. I am seeing a guy on Thursday as he was good company. I know this sounds stupid but I need to grieve or process it or something cos the feeling isn't going away, in fact it is getting worse.
So yeah. things here aren't good.I can't seem to get anything right.
Am just sad.
