It was an exhausting day at the hospital. We waited and waited but they didn't have all of her results.

The up shot is that she is quite ill and we won't know why till another week or so. They have given treatment and it is working but she is in pain and all of this will happen again most likely.

    She did eat dinner.

I can't think of any thing positive to be honest. The treatment is working. The animals survived the day shut in the house for 7 hours.

And it is too hot for anything
    Nevertheless she persisted.

I think (hope) a lot of it is to do with the hot weather. I can't do anything tonight. I got sunburnt driving and need sleep before I can properly process anything.

  • Have been paid.

Paid off the CC so am of this moment DEBT FREE.

Also put into my penny a day savings 621

My Summer savings are 607.77 and have moved to my insurance account 657

I am due a refund on the CC.

Mum is having breakfast so that is good.

I hope she stays in bed today so I can tackle the downstairs

  • Currently I am swinging between blind optimism and the abject miseries!

Mum remained in bed all of yesterday and was clearly in pain. She didn't want me to ring anyone and I kept a close eye on her.

She had parts of the day when she was good and able to hold a conversation but other bits when she was clearly tired and confused. Thing is because all this has happened after the treatment she is blaming the doctors for messing things up. Which to be honest I understand! I mean last week she walked the dogs and now she is barely managing to get to the toilet. I am very worried.

I cleaned bits of the kitchen and got rid of some out of date food. I did some taking care of house plants - my new (well since the winter) obsession which I liked - need to get out more! I felt a bit guilty as I quite enjoyed just getting on with things.

On a personal level I am doing a lot of wishing, but I need to stop that. Don't put a wishbone where your back bone should be.

I guess at least I am out of debt that is a positive thing. Am a bit skint mind.

Time to crack on with the washing/dishwasher etc. And then the shopping. Brilliant.
    Nevertheless she persisted.

    Hey Buffster
Sorry life is still throwing a lot of s*** in your direction. You must be shattered.
Congrats on getting out of debt, and finding the nerve to go on all these dates - even if they aren't what you're looking for. I just don't have the guts for that.
Sorry to hear that your mum is so poorly though - I hope that you get answers soon.
    Lots of love

Hope things become clearer with you mum's illness soon. Nothing worse than waiting for results and you have a right to be worried. Fingers crossed she can be sorted quickly xx
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Morning

Mum is a little brighter this morning so that is good. Big relief.

I am not too well, must have eaten something suspect?

Today I need to go and pick up some plant pots and I want to go to homebase as my local one is closing and I want to have a look see for garden bargains - bird feeders and a long shot but if they have the lamp I bought a while ago I would like a matching pair for the conservatory. and of course plants....

Then it is on to tidying up the downstairs.

although I have just put Friends on......
