  • Thanks Kat, I got one copy of C15 & 16, 16 does seem a bit thicker, but think it will still fit ok into the normal bags,,,now to find the page I saw those dimensions on!!! Bit annoyed as my SL had said she'd put a couple of order slips in there with them for me, I was over at my sister-in-law's last night and she would have ordered but no forms to be found! Anyway, going to go through C16 tonight and start my newsletter so I can get staight out after Tuesday. I'm on holiday for a week mid-september, but hopefully it wont fall during any of my delivery dates!
  • Sorry, I see what you mean now. Well I have the same problem, I actually have a CCJ now so whatever my credit limit is (I will let you know as soon as I know) I am sure yours won't be lower. My intention is to canvass about half of my territory and play it by ear, if I receive lots of orders then I will stop at around £150-£200 mark, but if I don't receive many I will canvass the whole area. Since we know we may have a credit limit just bare that in mind and try not to go over it.

How long before we receive our account number to log in online? I have been waiting 4 days, not sure how long, I would like to get used to the online ordering.

Kat, I recommend that you only get orders worth £200 and stop there, I wish I had. I recieved my account info to log online after 6 days; quicker than I thought! I recieved an email before mail! So logged on straight away after reading email!

  • Can anyone confirm what the rules are regarding earning money during maternity leave? My best friend is on maternity leave and would like to earn some extra money, but heard that you are not supposed to earn any money on maternity, does anyone know if you can, and has anyone done that?

    Thanks
    Kat x

    Kat and all

I work full time and do Avon as a 2nd sideline job for extra money!
I am 5 months pregnant and will be going on maternity leave for 9 months in January 2009. As far as I know doing Avon will not affect my maternity pay from my full time job

I was told that you were not supposed to earn any money whilst you were on Maternity Leave as it would affect what credits you were entitled to, but I suppose that only counts if you register it with the tax office...
  • Lissa77, Im reallly not sure, when i looked up tax credits etc it just said you will only be affected if you work another job over 16 hours a week. I work full time which i have accounted for but i definatly do not work more than 16 hours with Avon a week; probably 5 at the most with a delivery day! Lou x

Maternity leave should not affect it, you can do Avon if your on the dole without it affecting anything.

Not sure - I thought it was a bit strange when I was told, because what about if you do Ebay or Car boot sales as well. I think any money that you earn comes in really handy when you are on Maternity Leave...
  • I have just received my c17 books. They are LUSH. They are a little taller and wider ( and thicker ) with a propper spine.

    22.5cm X 19cm

They fit ok in my normal "cheap" plastic bags from the pound shop.

Apparantly it is just for one campaign, so don't go spending extra money on larger bags unless you have to.

Wow you are way ahead of me, my C15 campaign doesn't even finish until 23/9, my c17 online submit date is 4/11 so I suppose I will get the brochures 3 weeks before that.

They look good in hello tomorrow, anything exciting? Apparently there are 24 extra pages!
