Sounds like a computer response - so bad of Avon. It seems that they just support the PCs and let us lowly reps suffer.

its rubbish isnt it! its not like we're all not working hard.

I'm feeling a bit demotivted at the mo, need to find a way of picking myself up and gettin my head back in the game! any ideas of inspiration guys? x

I hate to be the bearer of more bad news but apparantly their call centre is moving to India as well shortly.

    Who wants a laugh?

I ran a raffle this month to win £50 worth of Avon products. Admittedly I did charge £1 per ticket or 6 for £5. Only 2 people ordered any tickets. One being my own mum. In total I spent £20 and made £7 with only 8 tickets being sold. I am down £13....

Thinking about running monthly prize hampers of our best sellers i.e. footworks, senses, SSS etc. Maybe for the customer who spend the most or repeatedly order from consecutive campaigns. Any ideas welcome...

I am just a little surprised that you are not offered any more assistance or advice from your leader(?). I have no contact with anyone about Avon except for the monthly payment.

There seems to be no encouragement apart from on this thread. It keeps me sane reading these messages - not sure about anyone else though.

Thats why the raffles i do are always based on expenditure with the customer, that way you cant lose. i always give one ticket for every £5 spent in the brochure, it encourages people to spend a little bit mor if they're just under the £5 and they dont feel like they r just buying a bit of paper lol

Do you do product specific i.e. Skin So Soft ranges or do you do variety items? Also do you do this monthly or at specific times? If you don't mind me asking how much do you spend on the hamper?

I am thinking of doing a monthly present of spending over £15 and have a free gift. Then I will do another hamper for Christmas.

    Any ideas?

    Sorry - me again

How is everyone doing this month? I have had a very strange month - people who have not ordered before are now ordering, whereas people who always order are not. Also the total ordered is about half.

Is anyone else having this kind of month and is it usual at this time of year?

oh dear - I feel problems amassing over the horizon....... The only time my SL rings up is when I'm late with my avon order - didn't even bother when I was in hospital. This month has been a bit wierd - I'm going to have to submit and additional order  as a load of people have come up to me with late orders - never done that before (makes me feel like I'm selling twice as much :rotfl: ). Hmm might do the hamper for Christmas with minimum spend per ticket.......
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

No, but would love to have the chance. Quite new to this game and wonder when the Christmas items start appearing in brochure. Have a couple of customers already planning their Christmas shopping...
