LiverpoolLouise - Good luck trying out the 10% offer hun. With regards to the HT clearance section, I don't think it's discontinued stock, I've seen the same things twice in two different HT, at different prices I might add so always check you're getting them at the cheaper price.
I'm on my 4th campaign and I am totally obsessed, have been since day 1 and since i've started doing sales leadership i'm even worse! It's quite sad really, I need to get a life that doesn't revolve around Avon!!
Annie - Good luck hun, let's hope you get lots of orders
Privateuni - Good luck to you as well and try and be more positive hun, it'll make you 10 times more motivated
I'm about to label 100 expired brochures ready to do a drop over the weekend, here's hoping I find some more reps! I set myself the goal of getting 5 more reps this campaign (I'd have 10 then) and I'm now on 7 with two more people to sign up over the next few days :T I might have to set myself a new goal of reaching 15 reps! Wish me luck guys:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy

Hayley- 7 reps-woowee!! Can you tell me how you get reps underneath you? I'd be quite interested in being a sales leader but as i work full time, do you think it would be a bit much? Also, if the people in my building (thats also my terratory) become a rep, wont they want to also canvass the building and then i get no sales?
Maybe I should just slow down and just concentrate on being a rep and trying out an Avon Party first! Lol:happylove If you do what you've always done, you'll get where you've always got! :heartpuls0 -
Thanks for your good wishes - can you explain why you label expired brochures? I'm half interested in getting reps myself - not right now but at a later date. Is it worth the hassle financially?0

Louise - If you became a sales leader and recruited somebody from you own building, they would be allocated a different territory as that building is yours. I wouldn't ask your best customers to become reps though, you don't want to lose out on all that commission!
Annie - I label expired brochures then post them through peoples doors, the cards say something like "this brochure has expired but it shows you the great products Avon sell, if you'd like to become a rep ring xx" EDIT: I'd say in the long term it would be worth it financially but it takes time to build a team big enough to earn a lot of money from it. But it can be done, i've met a couple who earn a fortune every 3 weeks.
I think there are quite a few sales leaders that work full time and still do it, I don't work at the moment but i'm about to start work in a few weeks.
To recruit reps, you can canvass houses, ask everybody you know, ask people in the street, advertise in the paper, in shops etc. If you're at all interested in becoming a sales leader, speak to your sales leader or ASM, they'll go through everything with you.
I'd definitely get to grips with being a rep first because you have to train your reps up so you need to be pretty clued up about everything. Think happy & you'll be happy

:j Thanks very much Hayley, I think I'm prob best learning all the ins and outs of being a rep first. I reaaaally want to be in the PC but last month my takings were £250 and this camp they are only about £150- grrr!
Must increase sales!:j:happylove If you do what you've always done, you'll get where you've always got! :heartpuls0 -
hi louise. i'm itching to get in PC club too! i've been selling for 2years now and still not done it. I'm halfway there and need to sell over £403[each campaign now to have a chance. i've just started another territory though so hope fully that wont be a problem.

Another tip girls, to increase sales........
i spoke to the head at the village school and asked if she'd mind me handing out books in the playground. In return i offered 10% of the sale value from school to the school PFA. It means i'll only get 15% from these sales, but hey, 15% is 15%! and its upped my total order by another £100. I'll present the 10% to school at the end of each term. That way it'll look better giving them £50 for example, than £5 or £6 every 3 weeks! I'm also going to offer the same to the playgroup now my son has started there!0 -
My first order went in today! £179.50 for customer orders (I managed to shave £6.50 off by back ordering - thanks for the tip!). My total was about £205 including brochures, £6 of stuff for me and the start up kit etc. I'm not sure what they do and don't pay the commission on though for those bits.
I also think I'll get hit for several quid thanks to the buy one get one for £1 deal as one person order two higher priced items and the other two lower priced ones. Say it was £12 and £10 then £6 and £5. So I SHOULD be paying £12 and £6 but I won't, I'll get billed for £12 and £10 apparently! This is what I've been told anyway. It's not very fair really is it?
Anyway, how did everyone else do for this campaign?0 -
