i was told that noone did these streets and hadnt done for a while. This was area sales manager? its never been mentioned by neighbours that someone else did avon in street Im going to contact asm again and see what she says about this.

Just dunno whether or not to approach rep and try find out what she is doing so im not steping on toes?

Try to get the reps name and then you can get your ASM to check whether this rep should be doing territory, she might be down as just F&F and she's just decided to do houses off her own back. If you're ASM said nobody had done the area for a while and has allocated it to you then you're not stepping on anybodys toes, they're stepping on yours hun! Let us know how you get on :)

re the anew samples, i received a covering letter with my last order saying i had been specially picked to receive brochures with the samples in. as they have two in with perforations, ime splitting them and putting them back in as people take their samples. i put my biggest order in last time £500+ so not sure if it went with your order total.

Another tip is when you get freebies with full sized products inside like the clutch bags, if someone has ordered a item in the previous 90 days you can send the item back for a credit which is more profit for you, then just make the bags up with the non full sized products as freebies for your best customers :)

    Help please!

A customer I think is an elderly lady has only filled in a small part of the form and not included any contact details. It was lucky I checked the form before leaving her house in fact!

She's ordered two items totalling £10 from the first part of the brochure then assumed she is getting an Antler case for free when it should be spend £10 get the case for £10, not free.

What's the best route to take here?

Have a word and explain and ask if she wants to go through with the order

The problem with that is that she didn't fill in any of her contact details, not even her name. Checking it out with her would mean putting her on the spot on the doorstep.

I can see that being extremely awkward to be honest.

    Hi all,

Elle - I had a similar problem with one of my ladies. just ordered the case and I will ask her when I deliver the rest of my order if she wants it for £10 (showing her the brocuhre page where it says £10 if you spend £10), and if not I will return it for credit. The woman who made this mistake made 3 mistakes so I don't know if she was trying it on...She didn't spend a tenner on the applicable pages for a start, then on the buy one get one for £1 on the solutions she had a higher priced item as her £1 one (only by a £1 but still) and then she had the bag down as free.

I will take the whole order to her, tell her I'm giving her the higher priced item for a £1 as a goodwill gesture but explain I can't give her the bag for free as it will mean me losing a tenner, but I have ordered it anyway if she wants to buy, and if not I can return it. I will also explain she didn't qualify for it with her order but I managed to order it anyway.

I will let you know how I get on! It's delivery day today...let's hope I don't bump into any dogs :D

Oh - re the Anew samples - I missed out too, which is a !!!!!! as I ordered 120 books. That would have been some good samples :D

I did get sale brochures though both with C10 and C11. Do you get these often?

I wouldn't worry too much about this Elle, I always get people making mistakes and I just let them know, either by phone or I pop round, i've never had it be awkward. At least then you'll have it sorted and can just order what you need.
