Can anyone confirm that interest is only added to the Zopa 90 day pots at the end of the 90 days and not monthly

So opening a 90 day pot on the 7th January 2023 and notice given immediately then no interest would be applied to the pot until into the new Tax year on the 7th April.

    Thanks

Interest is added to all pots monthly, whatever notice period you've chosen.

Big thanks to those that reported the chit chat in the 'no chat' ToTP thread and to the mods that acted accordingly.

A few of them disappeared automatically as people reported them as spam - probably the best way to deal with these off topic posts.

If you pass their automated ID check, it is all online.
If not, they require a paper form completing (part of the proof of address I assume)
I passed their electronic ID check (they confirmed this) but still have to go through the rigmarole of a few rounds of snail mail before I can use the account- probably not before February
Maybe the ID passed, but not the address part, have you moved recently, or changed electoral role details?

Or maybe they are just inconsistent (but odd with an online application)!
No change of address for 8 years. Electoral roll OK
    Coventry Limited Access Saver (6)

I received the application form from Coventry BS today. It is a pre populated form with all the details I filled in online.
They require me to sign and return it no extra information is required. Account will then be opened when they receive the signed form.
There really doesn't seem to be any consistency as others, also new customers, were able to open accounts wholly online.

You can email them the application and wait for confirmation in the post.

Were there other pages with the form?  If so, it might be worth reading through as it was only by doing so that I noticed they apparently need ID for opening new accounts too.  I assume that could otherwise have resulted in further delay if I hadn't sent it with the form.  As it happens, I still don't know if my account is open yet or not.... - I wait in hope.

Understand that but why the inconsistency some have had accounts opened immediately online and many others have had to wait 2 weeks plus to receive a paper form.
I am on the electoral roll and adress hasn't changed for over 6 years.
  • How is Coventry in terms of transfers in/out of accounts.  Are they instant or do they have a 24 hour delay where you lose interest like many others ?

Payments in are instant, as are transfers between Coventry accounts, but payments out of Coventry are processed the next working day.
