You may not be able to make a withdrawal before ID verification.0 -

What a faff, competitors will probably beat their rates by the time it’s sorted.I do have an account number and sort code though so does this mean I can deposit regardless and earn interest from now? I'm trying going into a branch tomorrow to see if they accept my ID that way, if not they can poke it. Not posting that much info nowdays, early next month they'll be an higher rate.

Feels like stepping back in time but aw well. It'll be worth it I'm sure.
(Ironically he had an account with them before)

I got it cleared today after waiting on the phone for 30 minutes. I had to laugh at one of the script questions though.
"Have I checked that the receiving account was FSCS registered?"
I had to say no, but that I suspected that Barclays Bank was and that their website was quite convincing. The Virgin Money person also chuckled and said that was fine.2 -
So, managed to create a payee via the Santander app - fresh set of eyes once I finished work. Would not let me make a payment out of the eSaver this evening - "Sorry - something went wrong" but have tried a future payment for tomorrow and that took. See if it pays out in the morning and I can start funding and also close some sub 2.75% regular savers too.Mortgage and debt free. Building up savings...0
