Regret opening the charter account already if Al Ratan beats it. My deposit to charter still hasn’t left my own bank account 5 hours later 👀0

Had account a month now easy to set up, app works and this is second rate rise already, not withdrawn but believe £20k day max like itMasetw said:Is it time to move from Zopa? Looking at Al Rayan... what's people experience with these? E.g withdrawal times etc0 -
Al Rayan has been very quick to beat competitors to the highest rate in recent rate hike scrums.

How long is it since you used the app? The changes that made the Blue Rewards cost neutral were only six months ago, in March this year, so not that long ago.soulsaver said:
Yes I'd abolutely agree with that.refluxer said:
Yes, it's probably not worth the effort for new customers (and hence only worthy of a mention rather than full inclusion on the list) but it's pretty-much a no-brainer for a Barclays current account holder like myself, who already uses their account for direct debits. Rejoining the Blue Rewards scheme and opening a Rainy Day Saver took around 2 minutes in total via online banking.soulsaver said:Well Barclays with it's complicated charge £5 and get it back if you jump through hoops (2 x DDs & pay in £800 pm) will get them no more than a slot in the footnotes of ToTP... and if the rubbish offer that has persisted for years means you'd abandoned it & haven't got access now, you'll be impressed with the hoops you need to jump through to even access, er.., the hoops you need to jump through...
And for those who are starting out on the savings journey 5% on £5k must be worth the effort.
I went to login to open it.. cards out of date, not been renewed; app had ceased to work, wanted defunct card info., online was as bad.
Was left considering a long frustrating call when I'm already month end busy, when I decided I don't need it that badly.
And I'm pretty sure something near & easy will be along shortly...
Even though I left Blue Rewards switched on it's been a while since I logged in myself, probably three or four months but, once I agreed to the app update I logged in without any problems so I'm not sure what went wrong in your case but it is unfortunate.

How long did it take to show? Did you also get a pop up from Barclays when sending the money stating they’re doing further checks first and may contact you?2010 said:Deposit now in Charter via Barclays and 2.23% showing for monthly interest.
Can`t se why Barclays would pop up as it`s not being sent by them.0 -
Gatehouse bank's easy access account appears to be closed to new applicants

I've just applied for the Charter Savings Easy Access at 2.25% and am intending to move everything from Zopa. Trouble is, I also have an ISA with Charter so I will be over my FSCS limit so will need to move it as a priority. Tried to apply to transfer to Coventry BS Isa but keep getting "Internal Error". Frustrating!S_uk said:
I'm giving Zopa till next Wednesday, otherwise I'm moving it all out. Al Rayan easy access now paying more than Zopa's 95 day boosted pot.Masetw said:Is it time to move from Zopa? Looking at Al Rayan... what's people experience with these? E.g withdrawal times etc0 -
Why not Al Rayan which pays more, out of interest?MatLoweRN said:
