I just submitted a withdrawal this afternoon on one account, and earliest I could specify was tomorrow's date as the processing date, with the promise of funds being at the destination the next working day (Monday). So I specified Monday as the processing date instead. I didn't track the timing on deposits, the £1 test amount took a while to bounce, and the minimum £5,000 also didn't hit home anywhere near swiftly, though can't remember if it was at least same day or not.
OK thank you.  It sounds like you lose one days interest when withdrawing funds then, but not sure about deposits.

Does anyone else know how long deposits take?

    Easy access

If you complete your transaction before 3pm on a working day*, your funds will arrive in your Nominated Account by the end of the following working day*.

*If your transaction is carried out after 3pm or on the weekend, please allow two working days for your funds to arrive.

Electronic payments made into your Charter Savings Bank account before 1pm, will show on the day we receive them. Payments made after 1pm will show the following working day.

If you’ve sent a cheque, this will show on the working day after we’ve received it.

  • FYI, after completing my Charter application yesterday, I got the email with my username this morning.

All easier than I had feared and they even closed my Issue 27 when I transferred everything out. Thanks.

    RCI Bank now paying 2.00%.

I really hope Zopa are going to move very soon, I really like their app but not so much I'm willing to keep my savings with them when more and more providers are offering 2.00% or more.

Opening a charter account later. I can't see zopa increasing their instant access by 0.4%.

Just move your money out of Zopa. It will incentivise them to up their rate so that you can bank with them again at a higher rate in future.
