I like to do all banking on a PC. Large screen, large keys. Just the way I am6

I'm not using my Chase Current Account at present, but I will use it next time I go abroad. No foreign currency transaction fees and 1 percent cashback make the debit card the best card to use on holiday.CheekyMikey said:
What’s the issue with having to open a Chase current account? I’ve just ignored it and the accompanying debit card and am viewing Chase purely as a savings account…
The one year of cashback starts from the date you activate the offer.0 -

What`s a crappy mobile phone?Thumbs_Up said:RG2015 said:
Eleven days on, and no one is getting anywhere near Chase.
Can others not afford it? Do they believe that the Chase rate is not sustainable?
It would be interesting to see how much money is being moved into Chase, and also when it tails off.
Maybe a lot some would be savers have crappy mobile phones so Chase can't meet their targets.
One that can`t download the Chase app?
I can`t imagine many savers would be putting vast amounts into an easy access account to warrant buying an un-crappy phone.
The other thing is you have to open Chase`s current account to get their savings account.
I`ll pass.I wasn’t making a sniffy comment. I bought a new mobile last month the model was released last year but to me it’s a crappy phone. I have 5 banking apps on it, the one I really want Chase I can’t install, but I am not going to go over all this again.

sorry to ask a silly question but I want to open a Marcus account - do I apply via the app or do I apply online and then download the app once the account is open ? thankyou0

you should be able to apply online... technically, I don't think you need the app at all - certainly, i've done all my transactions with them through the website and have personally never installed their app.Olinda99 said:sorry to ask a silly question but I want to open a Marcus account - do I apply via the app or do I apply online and then download the app once the account is open ? thankyou

My phone won't run the app. Have been looking at upgrading, So suggestions for a phone under £200 that will definitely work. Some of the cheaper phones say they are 64bit but they actually run in 32bit mode so will not work with chase. Looking through phone specs doesn't tell you that info from what I Can see. So some suggestions very much welcome👍Mr._H_2 said:
You could get a very cheap second-hand phone able to run the Chase app. The account pays 0.4% more than the next-best account. If you were saving the maximum £250,000, that's £83 more per month than the next best account. That's more than enough in one month to pay for a phone able to run the app.2010 said:What`s a crappy mobile phone?
