    What`s a crappy mobile phone?
One that can`t download the Chase app?

I can`t imagine many savers would be putting vast amounts into an easy access account to warrant buying an un-crappy phone.
You could get a very cheap second-hand phone able to run the Chase app. The account pays 0.4% more than the next-best account. If you were saving the maximum £250,000, that's £83 more per month than the next best account. That's more than enough in one month to pay for a phone able to run the app.

The other thing is you have to open Chase`s current account to get their savings account.
    So?
My phone won't run the app. Have been looking at upgrading, So suggestions for a phone under £200 that will definitely work. Some of the cheaper phones say they are 64bit but they actually run in 32bit mode so will not work with chase.  Looking through phone specs doesn't tell you that info from what I Can see. So some suggestions very much welcome👍

I don't think you will find a better value money phone for £200 than the one at https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/poco-f3-5g-256gb-8gb-667-120hz-amoled-sd-870-48mp-triple-camera-4520mah-ps199-ps189-with-code-at-xiaomi-uk-3916408

Don`t forget to add the 0.10% bonus to get the rate up to 1%
The bonus lasts at least a year.

11 YBS Internet Saver Plus 10 (IS Plus 7 NLA) interest now 0.82% at >£50k Tiered.View our Easy Access Savings Accounts | Savings | YBS
    Thnx @typistretired

See previous post regarding other YBS accounts NLA(?)

I've just logged into my YBS account and it's really confused me about their interests rates.
    - Yes, I have the Internet Saver Plus 10 paying 0.82% at £50,000+
But what really confuses me is that I also have an old Internet Savings account which I've had for over 12 years. It used to pay a low rate of interest (ie 0.1% two years ago). I found out after logging on today that suddenly on 5 April this year it's reached 0.85% with no need for £50,000+ balance. There's no information on their website about opening this account, so no doubt it's not available to new customers. Nor did they inform me in advance of the rate increase. What amazes me is that it pays a better rate of interest than the Internet Saver Plus 10 and doesn't require a balance of £50,000+. Can anyone explain this better interest rate on my old Internet Savings for a far smaller balance (eg £1000)?  As it's Sunday, YBS aren't open today to ask them.
