    ETA tabulation

You have been provided with a link confirming the Chip rate, why is it still not included and just at the bottom with a rather rude sounding "allegedly"?
I signed up for Chip but got cold feet when they asked for my debit card details. Not really read the terms and conditions but they are not getting my debit card details.
Chip keep contacting but I am just ignoring

Cynergy Bank has added a new issue of the Online Easy Access account with 1.1% interest. Time for the weekly/fortnightly fasttrack apply and transfer and close (if you haven't already left the boat entirely for Chase 1.5%)

Their public page hasn't yet updated, but the fasttrack apply has the new rate.
My Cynergy online banking is starting to look like Virgin money with a graveyard of closed accounts with a £0.00 balance…..
MDMD we also both have a list of Cynergy accounts we've opened and closed but when they continue to increase % rates then we will continue to open/close accounts; thank goodness its so easy to open/transfer/close  accounts

Halifax have finally upped their easy access savings rate from 0.01% to 0.15% and above but nothing spectacular (maybe the same increases at Lloyds Bank/Bank of Scotland).

My Halifax Instant Saver is showing an interest rate of 0.15% this morning (Tuesday 12th April 2022).

Glad you said that. I was naively thinking that my existing Cynergy account rate had gone up to 1.1% but no it is/was still stuck at 0.7%. No loyalty goes unpunished. New account - transfer done. Its a bit annoying that I now have to set up a new payee in my current account and test it with a small amount to make sure I don't do a typo. etc.

ETA Remove 'Chip' see below. And clarify Zopa.
Very helpful. Might want to put another note against Cynergy "need to open a new account to get the current rate"

. To be honest I think I will end up just getting a different phone so I can sign up with Chase.

Wait a bit if I was you, sod’s law may come in to play, the competitors just might catch up, who knows.

I know it a hard call to make with all that interest money slipping through your fingers but remember this inflation is running at 7% and you think you are missing out on 1.5%.

Rest assured their are some people laughing the socks off with us money savers.

Impressive that the Halifax Everyday Saver has increased by 150%, they've certainly pushed the boat out!

    Awful arithmetic.
Yes sorry, 15% increase, but your reason for not giving the correct % is that you weren't able to do the calculation.

If you are basing your arithmetic on GalacticaActual's figures of 0.01% increasing to 0.15%, try to find your way to 1,400%.

Someone might have said on here already, but you could keep one of the older Cynergy accounts open (only transfer the money out) and keep using that as the payee from your current account.

Its a little bit extra effort as 2 transfers (current -> old cynergy, then old cynergy - new cynergy), but also ensures less mistakes in entering payee details, and probably less fraud flag scoring.
