The bonus has actually extended to 7th April 2023 I expect Saga will up their rates as they are linked to Goldman Sachs too.

Thank you for the correction brain not working yet
I have days like that!! I was more pointing it out for people who maybe renewed months ago just to remind them the new bonus would expire in a few months and not the whole year from todays date of rate increase.

    Marcus definitely now 1.0%

So I’ve just moved 17K back into there from Atom!

Is it also worth putting in the £25K & 15K from Virgin Money Saver & Zopa too, so that there is 57K solely earning the 1.0% interest under one roof or keep the 3 accounts separate?

I’ve maxed out the Chase account already btw
have you thought about moving the £15k in Zopa to one of their notice boosted pots...? any of them would beat the rate you would get at Marcus and/or VM.

I would assume that, if you have £85k in Chase and £25k in VM easy access accounts, its unlikely you should need immediate access to the £15k in Zopa and so can afford to put it in one of their notice pots... 7 days notice would gain you an extra £7.50 per year in interest; 95 days would give you £37.50

    Do Tandem pay interest monthly?

Is it worth opening an account with them too for the extra 0.10% currently on offer with Zopa/Virgin Money & now Marcus?

    Will Atom be increasing again?

    Yes.

Not imo, but each to their own. Uses Open Banking, which some don't like.
Mine has £1 in. Virgin £0 in. Marcus £1.

Unlikely, as only increased in last fortnight (I think). Mine has £1 in

Moneyfacts web site says yes. When will NS&I play catch up currently 0.50%.

Eleven days on, and no one is getting anywhere near Chase.

Can others not afford it? Do they believe that the Chase rate is not sustainable?

It would be interesting to see how much money is being moved into Chase, and also when it tails off.

Edit. JP Morgan shareholders are very concerned about the push into UK retail banking. Perhaps this is giving hope to the competition that Chase may start scaling back.
