Just read the T&Cs on the Chase boosted saver, looks like you can only get this if you don't have a Chase saver already/ or the balance on all of them was below £500 on 8th March1
-
Also got the offer - 1% bonus until November, but from 13th May the underlying rate will change to track the base rate minus 1.15% - so no impact if base rate stays at 5.25, but will follow it down if it drops.0

Chase. May be targeted. I got a push notification from the App and there is an option for me to open a new savings account.0

Stinks if Chase don’t give this to everyone. Even more reason to bin them off as far as I’m concerned.1

I've had the Chase email too. Account opened, but not funded yet as I've better options than 5.1% just now...
But may live life on the edge and put £1 in 😁Mortgage and debt free. Building up savings...0 -
Well, I had the notification on my wiife's email but from my phone and the link let me open the account on my chase, soooo....just a case of obtaining the link perhaps?
edit: seeing the note above, my saver balance was indeed <£500, so I guess I qualified anyway but for some reason they didn't send me the link. I still have the Santander 5.2% going for a while longer, so not particularly excited.0 -
Odd - I had less than the £500 in Saver accounts on March 9th (though I was over that in the current account), and when I first opened the app and went to "Save & Invest", it showed the offer of the 5.1% rate, with a button to click for "see more" - which took me to a blank web page. Going back, the offer on the "Save & Invest" screen had been removed. So I guess I'm not among the elect after all.0

I will bin Chase if something better comes along. But it will have to be better than 1pc cashback on overseas spending and a near perfect exchange rate. I'm the meantime, Chase is a useful feeder account for my Regular Savings Accounts and secondary current accounts that need to be funded each month. And I'm looking forward to seeing what their credit card will offer.jaypers said:Stinks if Chase don’t give this to everyone. Even more reason to bin them off as far as I’m concerned.0 -
I also had the email and an app notification about this but when I logged into the app it said it was not available.
However after looking again I saw something about it in the app and it gave me the option to open a 2nd Saver with the 5.1% interest. Looked at the terms and it says you can have up to ten Saver accounts!0 -
OK. I've now received the email which links to terms on the website, and it is definitely targeted:-
"If you're eligible for the Chase saver with a boosted rate, you'll see an option to open it in the Chase app, from 'Save & Invest'.From time to time we run offers that are available to customers at different points in their relationship with Chase. The Chase saver with a boosted rate is a limited offer that isn't available to everyone right now."
