Perhaps worth to make people aware that there is the Cahoot Sunny Day Saver at 5.2% for up to 3k. Not a lot but they might keep this one for a little longer before it eventually gets a rate cut too. Also 60 days notice and still available. So grab it while you can.

Disappointing at the Santander drop, that's quite a lump in one change - presumably influenced by the 60 day notice (or 73 days in this case) period. I wonder if Cahoot will follow suit shortly.1

They may be betting on a surprise MPC Base Rate cut at the 9th May meeting.

Probably just don't need the cash in this product at such high price anymore. I'm pretty sure that a lot of passive savers won't move their money elsewhere as a result of this drop, so Santander will still have a lot of money, but at cheaper price.CuparLad said:They may be betting on a surprise MPC Base Rate cut at the 9th May meeting.4 -
I've just applied for this account and was rejected due to Equifax not having any record of me! So I have contacted Cahoot who are looking into this for me and can deal with application another waypecunianonolet said:Perhaps worth to make people aware that there is the Cahoot Sunny Day Saver at 5.2% for up to 3k. Maybe double check if your address data is correct with them as they only really do a soft check to verify your identity and address. Hopefully, you'll get it opened.Frogletina said:

I had a call back from Cahoot this afternoon - the advisor checked my details and will now be opening my account. The only thing that I can think may have been a problem is that I live in an apartment and I know they can be formatted in different ways, although it picked it up fine on the Cahoot application.pecunianonolet said:

My son had a perpetual problem with exactly that - he found that the council on some database had him down as 'apartment' and it was recorded elsewhere as 'flat'. Once he started using 'apartment' it solved most of the Finance related issues.Frogletina said:
