Gatehouse Easy Access reducing to 4.66% Gross w.e.f. 3/4/24 (email today).
    My email states 4.76% gross
Is that perhaps the difference between monthly paid interest and annual?  I've found that I tend to get emails about interest rate changes that state the rate applicable to the option I've personally chosen.
Yes. This is the case here.

Re Tandem. It appears the Open Banking limit for transferring from your linked account (in my case Lloyds) to your Tandem account is £5000 whereas transferring the other way it's a lot higher. Lloyds blame it on the way Tandem requests the money (called ecommerce transaction) and Tandem says it's up to Lloyds. So I've hit a brick wall there. Has anyone successfully transferred above 5K using Open Banking or can suggest a way to change the limit. It just seems weird that it is not the same limit both ways.
And before anyone says you can tranfser larger amounts via bank transfer, I do know that. It's just I prefer to use Open Banking if possible.

It must be bank specific as FD let me send 80k via open banking.
I also like the system as it is near instantaneous.

    Hi,
thinking about moving a lump of money from my Easy access Tandem (interest rate down to 4.9% from yesterday) to perhaps Monument (5.1%).
Do you have any experience with them?
Does it sound like a reasonable choice?

I would really appreciate your advice about this :)

Nothing wrong with that approach at all but remember that the difference in interest rates there between the 2 will only earn you an extra £2 p/a per £1000 saved.

    thank you for your reply
    I really appreciate.

Can I ask you how do I interpret this segment in their Features?
"Unlimited withdrawals to your Linked Account (subject to keeping a £25,000 minimum balance with us)"

Am I allowed to empty out the account any time I want?
