Speak of the devil. I was thinking of opening it this morning as another back up, too late nowBridlington1 said:
Oh well, not a big deal for me, I have already collected plenty of EA backups at 5%+. Synergy issue 69 is still available, I'll get this one and put £1 in there.
P.S. Tried to open Cynergy Easy Access, Applied as an existing customer. No luck - "You are not currently eligible for this account." Eligibility requirements are - UK resident, age 18+, UK account, NI number, e-mail address and UK phone number. They've already got all this info. Has anyone had a similar problem applying for Cynergy accounts? I can't recall any difficulties with my previous application but it was a while ago.0 -
Skipton base rate tracker, you're coming on soon, start warming up...Bridlington1 said:For those who have it the NLA Santander Easy Access Saver Limited Edition (Issue 3) to reduce from 5.2% to 4.2% from 8/5/24.
EDIT:
Interest rate reduction will come into effect from 20th May.

Do I have to open /use the app, as I prefer to use PC1 -
Indeed, it is starting to look like Skipton tracker will soon be at the top of EA table. I'm glad I've grabbed this product when it was available.intalex said:

Skipton must be aware that when they reduce the Single Access Issue 1 (NLA) from 5.15% by 0.1% or more a fair chunk of funds from that product will move to the BR Tracker Issue 5 at 5.06% until 15:11:25. Might not be long before it's higher than fixed rate offerings.allegro120 said:

Skipton's current Easy Access Issue 3 is 3.8% and their Single Access Issue 2 is 4.8%.1 -

Rate changes and shuffling funds have been quiet for a couple of months now but it looks likes it going to start again with NLA top paying accounts start to drop - all those accounts left with open small amounts will come into their own again. Posts with reminders about notice periods expiring will be useful, even though there's a shift towards just 14 days notice. There is also a new 20K ISA allowance in just a month which is another option.0

See above posts.I did the same. I don't generally expect COP to work on a newly opened savings account. Usually takes time to set this if at all. I took the risk with my £1.1 -

Are you talking about Issue 5, currently 5.06%?

Yes, this is the one. As other variables will be going further below the base rate, Skipton tracker might become the best paying EA.Aidanmc said:intalex said:
