I find this table super useful! After a lot of chopping and changing I am now specifically looking for "True Instant EA" accounts (as you call them) with zero (or £1 max) minimum balance and Monthly interest. (i.e. completely flexible accounts). Thanks for tracking beyond the Top handful of accounts

Good point. Just to bring it back on topic. What is the best easy access savings account at the moment?Steve_xx said:It's a pity that this thread has lapsed into nonsensical banter, causing an ever longer thread, making it very difficult to glean anything useful that's posted.

Just received this from Zopa……..According to YouGov, the average Brit spends over £600 on Christmas, with £300 of that going towards presents and £100 on food and drink — that’s a lot of roasties!
To give you a helping hand this year, we’re offering you the chance to win the cost of Christmas. The prizes up for grabs
3 x £650
5 x £300
12 x £100 How to enterTo be in with the chance to win, simply open a new 31-day Boosted interest pot* in your Smart Savings Hub and deposit £10 before 30 November 2023.
Then, each week of November that you top up your pot by a minimum of £10, you’ll get another entry in the prize draw — meaning you can earn up to 5 entries. What happens nextWe’ll select 20 lucky prize winners at random on 1 December 2023.
If you’ve won, we’ll let you know via email. Your prize money will be paid into the most recently used bank account linked to your Smart Savings Hub, so it's worth checking whether this is up to date4 -
Should have opted for higher values in my recent yougov survey loljaypers said:Just received this from Zopa……..According to YouGov, the average Brit spends over £600 on Christmas, with £300 of that going towards presents and £100 on food and drink — that’s a lot of roasties!

Well I've no idea if the Zopa Happy Xmas draw is invite-only but I've opened a new 31-day Pot with a tenner anyway.1

Another month of "nonsensical banter" and not much in the way of improved savings offerings on the way on this thread then. 😀
The additional commentary issued by the BoE strongly suggests that that the current high rates (by recent standards) are expected to stay in place for the long term. They have been wrong before though.5 -
I've just started an off-topic general discussion thread for this board. Although I do tweak the label of "nonsensical" banter...I no longer check the forums as regularly as I used to. If you wish to catch my attention please remember to tag me (@ircE) so I get a notification.4
