This is insane. It’s a prize draw that none of us are going to win. And for a moment I was drawn into the insanity.  :)
Somebody will win and that's the real "draw".

I've never bought a lottery ticket. I read when it started that if you buy a ticket on the Monday, you've more chance of being dead by the time of the draw Saturday than of winning the jackpot. I'm not keen on those odds.
  • It would be better (imo) if they divided out the 100k.
    Maybe 2 x 50k or 4 x 25k, even 10 lots of 10k.
    That way more customers win.

Probably doesn't attract the attention as much.

That was exactly my thinking @Bazzalona13295 - 100 x £1k might feel you were in with a reasonable chance.  I haven't had the email and certainly won't be holding my breath over it.

I've not had an email either but did get a pop-up about it when logging in the other week. Seemed a bit pointless. Doubt it'll change any behaviours but there'll be one very lucky individual. As others have said, would've been bit more interesting had there been multiple smaller prizes.
  • Definitely a lack of top easy access accounts appearing as this thread has morphed into a Santander prize thread.

Can't see the BoE raising rates anytime soon either.

And right on cue have now received email! I am already entered in the draw. Daughter received one too and needs to have £100 in her account by the end of November to be entered. I'm sure Bank of Dad will provide the funds on a temporary basis. For a % of any winnings obviously :-)

Sadly those odds still apply whether you buy a ticket or not - we all get entered in the lottery of life, no purchase necessary :p

Still waiting for Tandem to go up cos that one guy withdrew his money. The magic doesn't seem to work any more.
  • Why do I feel like we've reached the end of exciting interest rate rises for savers....perhaps 5.2% for EA/IA with no restrictions is the best its going to get :(
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

    0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
    Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
    Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing
