Very good move by Coventry - and very unusual these days for an ISA (4.9%) to beat the equivalent savings account (4.8%). I wonder if this means the Four Access Saver is due for an increase, or whether Coventry have just decided to be competitive in the ISA space instead.

Nice.  Makes some sense.  EA market is very competitive atm and they are well set up for ISAs.

I opened the 4.3% Coventry ISA last month and deposited 20,000. Is it possible to transfer it to the new 4.9%?

Just did this takes 5mins, to open and transfer.  Now off to transfer my ISA from YBS who seem to be lagging way behind.  Seems to take a lot longer with external transfers

As above have said... easy online .... log on, open new one, go to newly opened ISA (which is classed as inactive), transfer all of older ISA into new ISA, older ISA gets closed and any interest goes over with the capital to the new ISA, new ISA then becomes active. Took me about 5mins including screen dumps etc for my records
