Can you have interest paid away into an external account each month with DF?
I'm not sure I have any easy access accounts with that option - I would imagine that type of arrangement is primarily for other types of accounts (eg. fixed rate) ?
I don't do fixed rate savings at all, but I remember seeing this option when opening  some of my savings accounts.

Moneyfacts shows DF Capital easy access AER interest as 4.55% and monthly rate also as 4.55%. Is this an error?

DF Capital is interesting me as it has recently dawned on me that most of my savings based accounts (and indeed prospective ones) would rely on access to an app or authenticator in the case of emergency. Perhaps a bit tin foil hat, but I had been thinking that as things stand I would only really have immediate access to withdraw funds from my current accounts through a browser should my phone be lost. How does the login process with DF Capital work, you do not need an authenticator right (I understand you do with the main other competing top rate provider in Oxbury)? How quick are deposits received & can you do a test payment (for instant or notice)

No authenticator app required. Just username (you choose), password (you choose) and passcode (you choose). I sent a Faster Payment deposit and it was in the account within a couple of minutes.

When I spoke to them, they said gross is 4.46% and 4.55% AER.

Silly question perhaps but why are deposits fast but withdrawals not so fast?

Presumably cash flow, although their FAQ about deposits says 1 day and people here seem to be quoting instant

The money arrives very quickly, but it's in status pending subject to verification of the sending account. Whether this is because it's my first deposit and they do a manual verification, or this is standard practice for all deposits I can't say.
