Does anyone know when Ford pays monthly interest on their Flexible saver - relative to your monthiversary - I think mine is the 20th?  With some fixes for example, I get advance notice of the interest in the account as a scheduled payment, as it's easy to predict on a fix.  But with the flex saver, they can surely only calculate the interest at midnight on the last day of your interest period.  So I don't expect it to be paid for at least a day later.  Just saves me logging in every day for a look, if I know it won't be for a few days.

I want to withdraw cash from my recently-opened Newcastle BS Easy Access Tracker to my nominated account and then to Chip. Can anyone help me with how much I need to leave in the Newcastle account to keep it open? Also, if I instruct the withdrawal from Newcastle BS online tomorrow morning, will the cash be in my nominated account the same day? Thanks.

Leaving £1 there should be fine. When i requested withdrawals on a working day morning, the funds were in my nominated acc same day.

Here's how my account works: account opened on 22nd, my interest appears late on the 21st of the following month (9.30pm or later), but dated 22nd. 
So if your opening date is 20th, may appear late on the 19th, but dated the 20th?

Mine seems to come in on 20th too. I guess it might vary a bit given it might fall on weekends.

They do send me an email though to say my account statement is ready to view online  - so that’s when I look.

I see.. Was confused as I opened one today. Guess it just got pulled.

Chip seems better anyway as DF putting a £1000 minimum seems arbitrary in this day and age.
