Does anyone know when Ford pays monthly interest on their Flexible saver - relative to your monthiversary - I think mine is the 20th?  With some fixes for example, I get advance notice of the interest in the account as a scheduled payment, as it's easy to predict on a fix.  But with the flex saver, they can surely only calculate the interest at midnight on the last day of your interest period.  So I don't expect it to be paid for at least a day later.  Just saves me logging in every day for a look, if I know it won't be for a few days.
Mine seems to come in on 20th too. I guess it might vary a bit given it might fall on weekends.

They do send me an email though to say my account statement is ready to view online  - so that’s when I look.
Ah, thank you.  I have been impressed with how well informed Ford keep you.

Does anyone know why DF Finance was removed from the best buy tables on MSE?

    Easy Access Accounts

Sorry there are currently no products available, please check back later.

I see.. Was confused as I opened one today. Guess it just got pulled.

Chip seems better anyway as DF putting a £1000 minimum seems arbitrary in this day and age.

Wow! I guess I should have realised this place was populated by rate tarts like me, all hail Martin and MSE! I am fast coming to the conclusion that Chip is a keeper. And for anyone who is put off by the cautionary notes on the main page about it being a bit "complicated," don't be. Once you have set up the connected banking it is a breeze, both deposits and withdrawals are literally instant, which is more than can be said for some providers who masquerade in the Top accounts "easy access" section.

I should have added, I guess Oxbury are having a mass exodus now that their 15 minutes of fame seem to have passed?

I find Chip's description on the best rates table a bit misleading. It's pretty simple to setup and certainly no more hoops than anything else on there.

If you do ditch chip after 4th working day of month you don't get the interest.  Is that correct how I read their terms?  Just something to be aware of.

That’s not correct, I ditched Chip for Coventry last month. Then went back after Chips rate rise.
I got all the interest I was owed. I was board and had been taking screenshots every day to see
my interest grow. I had a shot of the day I moved and the last day of the month.
The amount was correct when I got paid on the 06-07-23.
