Good to see DF Capital putting their toe back in the Easy Access water.

I asked for the CoP on the 7 April, they responded on the 18 April and asked me to confirm my email so they could send out the CoP when ready. On 11 May they confirmed the CoP had been sent.gt94sss2 said:
Ironically, the same query I am awaiting a response too (now one week and counting)Doctor_Who said:
Definitely agree with that! Whilst a recent query (obtaining a certificate of profit) was resolved, it took over a week for them to answer!gt94sss2 said:
My only problem with them is how slow they are to answer messages sent to them via the app..alternate said:are al rayan getting worse? Nice one! Better than Coventry 4 Access Saver, IMO. Albeit a tad slow with withdrawals, and min deposit and withdrawal amount, as well as min operating balance, is £1,000.Your funds will be received the next working day if the withdrawal request is received before 4:30pm. If your withdrawal request is received after 4:30pm or on a non working day, your request will be processed the next working day and your funds may not be received until the second working day.I already have a Fixed Term account with them, so opening the EA account took just seconds. They are not part of CoP, so I just sent a small test payment, which was received nearly instantly - and which resulted in a bit of a telling off .....

I emailed to ask, its cause this is a commercial rate account rather than typical retail but is still FSCS covered. Which I guess means they can do bit more riskier things with your money but since its HSBC +FSCS that does not matter too much.cadguy77 said:
Account created and can confirm I see this account available too.gt94sss2 said:
I just opened an Flagstone account and can also see it listed on their website.cadguy77 said:
Is this account open to all? I couldn't see it on the flagstone website (I don't have an account with them).Doctor_Who said:
Yes, I also see the 4.81% EA account with HSBC in Flagstone. Not quite sure why they've bothered with the Nationwide account that appears below it!Futuristic said:I just decided to randomly login to Flagstone after clearing through my old emails.
I see the below offer, anyone else? It seems to be after fees too but ofc the min/max is £85k so only for the fortunate few.

How quick are Flagstone with deposits/withdrawals?
Something seems amiss with the product T&C's which state its an international fixed term account.3 -
Was that response from flagstone or HSBC? Still not sure why it's advertised as instant access but the account is called fixed term.Futuristic said:

@lcooper Have you found DF Capital ok to deal with?lcooper said:SeriousHoax said:

DF sounds interesting except the stupid £1000 minimum withdrawal, but at only issue 2 there's really no way of knowing if they will be any good at increasing rates going forward.2

Did you email or phone them? Do you happen to know whether I'll need to get a CoP from Gatehouse as well for my tax return?Doctor_Who said:

SeriousHoax said:DF Capital 4.55%...I'm not happy about the delay in crediting interest implied by their Personal Savings Terms and Conditions:
7. How interest will be calculated
We calculate interest on the balance in your account at the end of each day, with deposits usually attracting interest from the second working day after we present it.This is 2 days later than most other accounts e.g. Coventry:Unless their T&Cs are out-of-date or not applied to DF's latest Easy Access account, it's likely to wipe out the interest rate advantage. Eg the 0.05% interest rate advantage over say the Coventry Four Access Saver (Online) account would be wiped out unless you keep your deposit there and that differential is maintained for at least 6 months, or the differential improves. All money paid into your account starts to earn interest from the day we add it to your balance.
UPDATE
Thank you to infoadict who called DF and got confirmation that they credit deposits on the day of receipt like other institutions, and also to TiVo_Lad whose experience suggests this is also the case even after deposits have initially shown as pending while undergoing verification.
