Even Kroo confirmed that the transaction was successful because I pulled the tenner from within the Kroo app, rather than sending it from the donor.
I was a bit strange that the Kroo app managed to log itself into my donor banks app to grab the tenner.
I'm not sure if you saw my update. I sent a bank transfer at exactly 13:00 from my main bank to Kroo. At 13:01 the £10 test payment was showing.
I sent it via a regular bank transfer rather than using the 'pull' method.
I'm not sending anymore at the moment as the interest rate is only 2%, but will send more following the increase to 3%.
I think their app needs some improvement, and I await their explanation as to where the tenner was for a good 12 hours.
I like the idea that it's paying a fair interest on a current account. But like you I will wait until the rate is upped and also will see what others report about their experience.1 -

Though I can't figure how you would have done it as I don't seem to have this option in my Kroo app.
The option appears beside the balance, where in black it says "add money". Clicking on that will bring forth a dropdown menu with a list of banks that monies can be pulled from. If your bank is on the list then you can seemingly pull money from it.0 -

The £10 taken from my non Kroo account has now appeared in it some 13 hours later. I sent them a message about it, which shows as delivered. But Kroo are yet to respond. I have to say that due to this as yet unexplained time gap, and the fact that the the app is laggy, that I'm a tad sceptical about Kroo.
Also worth noting is that when you move away from the app, it takes a very long time before access is denied unless you logoff.
Similarly the biometric login process seems to be a very hit and miss affair. Invariably it demands email address and password, even though it's set to login with my fingerprint.
I haven't had any problems. I registered within 10 minutes during an evening and my account was approved shortly after that same evening. My phone is over 6 years old and the app isn't noticeably laggy (unlike Barclays and Chase), faster payments are sent and received almost instantaneously, and the app automatically logs out after 1 minute of inactivity (or instantly if you quit/suspend the app manually, e.g. swiping up on iOS).
3.03% AER interest in a current account is a bold move in the current easy access savings market, and one I personally prefer over pots.1 -

I tried about 4 times applying for the Kroo account. The app just becomes unresponsive while inputting info. Not worth the hassle. App deleted.1

Barclays Rainy Day saver is 5.12%
OP should have been more clear about the requirements of the easy access saver, e.g. if there is an amount of money which needs to be deposited.1
